The food provided in the mess is not good to have

Course Curriculum Overview

So I decided it was a good time to go for it. There are 60 people in a single class, each class is for 1.5 hrs and the teachers are very helpful. All faculty members have some corporate backgrounds and have Ph.D. in the subjects they teach. The exams were relatively easy, if you attend the classes then it will be relatively easy. If you are not good at studies, or you have any issues with the subjects the faculty members will surely help you.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 750000 per year

Placement Experience

KSOM has a very good history of placements. This year, in 2023 the avg package was 9Lpa. Max is close to 20 LPA, and min is 5LPA. Some companies also give foreign opportunities. There is a record of 100 % placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

You can directly get in touch with KSOM for any assistance with a scholarship. There are a lot of opportunities to get scholarships. There are many scholarships available, if you get good results in the semester exams, you can get a fee waiver.

Campus Life

One of the finest colleges in East India, with very good amenities, and facilities. KSOM has a huge library inside the campus with thousands of books and is access able to everyone. There are many social groups and clubs, there are finance, marketing, hr, analytics, and many more clubs. There are also many cultural and sports clubs.

Hostel Facilities

In KSOM, MBA is a residential course. You have to opt for a hostel. You will be given a 2-bed room with ac. The bathroom is attached for girls and boys have a common bathroom. The food is good. Once a week you will get chicken biryani, and once you will get mutton.

Hostel Fee: INR 120000 per year

Admission

Eligibility criteria: 60% in grad and school. You can get the application form from KSOM 's official website. The admission process is very smooth. They will send every detail in your mail id and will also call you if you miss anything.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible after completing their internships. Generally after the 2nd semester students start to sit for the campus process. Companies like: Federal Bank, Axis Bank, Big Basket, SBI securities, Yash Technologies, In2IT, Asian Paints etc visit for hiring top talents from this college. Almost every student gets placed and further assistance is provided too. Majority of the students pursue their corporate career after getting placed, while some also go for higher studies. Others also ppt for entrepreneurship opportunities. Highest Package: 16.2 lpa Average Package : 4.5-5 lpa

It has state-of-the-art architecture with a blend of culture

Course Curriculum Overview:

The pedagogy is excellent since majorly learning is through real-world case studies, reserach papers, peer discussions and interactive class activities. The professors provide materials and pre-reads at the starting of the term and the content is highly focussed on practical learning. The AI sessions are enriching. The difficulty level of exams vary among the instructors but usually is aligned with topics already taught.

The night life if good, and for me gym is the best part
The faculties have good experience and teaching skills
The mess food is also good as of what is expected as stereotype.

Dislikes

The classes some time are too much to handle
The n number of rules and regulations regarding the hostal
The basketball court and cricket ground could have been better

The course is all about management where I get to learn how to manage time with daily n number of activities. Because PGDM course is actually to prepare a person for corporate life. And this course is actually a corporate simulation with education.

I was having prior experience in HR, so i took the course to enrich my knowledge 1:30 was the faculty-to-student ratio all the faculty were experienced in their domain with vast domain knowledge. The exam schedule was tough, and various exams used to happen on a daily basis with term exams at the end

Campus life is quite interesting with activities happening every month
Renowned faculty is there to guide us and the lesson plans include a lot of practical thinking
Placement is decent and plenty of renowned companies come on campus.

Dislikes

Time crunch. With so many activities students often feel burnt out

By 5th semester the student is eligible for final campus placements. There are more than 50 companies that visit the campus and the college boasts a 100% placement record. The highest package is 72lpa and the median is around 20lpa.

Admission:

I got admission to this college by taking the OJEE entrance exam, so I was exempted from taking the entrance exam like MAT, CAT, etc. And then, after my OJEE results were declared, I fill out the application form of this college and then, I attended the counseling session.

Awesome faculty and quality study

Remarks:

Management is limited and it is best. Faculties have immense knowledge about the subject and explanations by them with examples are easy to catch. Lifetime learning it becomes.

Test was with multiple questions relate to arithmatic, reasoning, current affers, English grammar. Time was 2 hours. MAT is a entrance test conducted for management studies admission.
