ONE OF THE BEST COLLEGE FOR ENGINEERING
Overall a good college with a very big infrastructure and very experienced faculties..it was a very wonderful experience to puruse btech from thus college.
i competed in rpet exam and my admission was basically on rpet rank..this college was on my topmost priority and i got it..there was no interview process involved when i got admission there and my main motive to do engineering was to get more familiar with the electrical components and their working so i chose electrical as my stream.
FEE STRUCTURE AND FACILITIES
The fee structure was 70000 and for the students who cannot afford it there is a scholarship format too....students get half share(perfectly i dont know) of their fees as scholarship which lessens the burden on parents which is A good thing.
Many companies came in college every year and those who do hard work gets surely placement..students above 75 percent with good skills gets definately placed..the major companies that visited the campus were like indian army, wipro,hp and many more.the average package was 15000-20000.
I was not residing in the hostel but i got the opportuniny to go there...there were single rooms for every single student..the hostels were like PGs...bed,almirah and a desk was provided in each room and there was a mess foe hostel students...i perfectly didnt know the hostel fees but it was 80000...the food was good(not bad and also not best)
Qualified faculties were there and the way they explain was fabulous..all the faculties were very well qualified and they were interactive with all the students..if they saw any student who couldn't match upto them then they suggested them to take extra classes or whatever was beneficial for them..
there are midterms and semester exams...there are 8 semesters and 2 midterms in every semester...the marks of midterms are calculated and are evaluated in the semester marks...there was a seperate lab for every subject..the labs were having all the electrical machines that are required for the course and the labs were very well equipped..
COURSE CURRICULUM OVERVIEW
The electrical course was good and you get to know everything about the substations and their components, their working and how basically they are made and their components.the practical knowledge on the other end was little bit low as compared to theoretical knowledge...basically engineering is a full theoretical knowledge and ITI is the practical knowledge..many research initiatives were taken by college side like we have had a seminar every year on the projects on which every student has to actively participate..if u want practical knowledge then don't prefer BTech...then ITI is the best option for uh...
The college didnt provide any internship..we had to do internships from industries on our own.the experience of doing internship was fabulous..i did my internship from a substation in jaipur and got much knowledge about how electricity reaches our home.overall it was a wonderful experience..
