Likes

I like library which is big one with silent and air conditioning
We have wide canteens which are good in taste only thing we need money
Nice playground auditorium and many celebration

Dislikes

Some classes will be boring because of silent in class
SRM is only purpose to enjoy very rarely to study
Definitely class rooms was not good for bcom mcom bba etc

Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen B.Com accounting and finance, it was a good course and faculties are very kind and friendly with us. All faculties are PhDs or doing Ph.D.s as well. They made it easy to pass exams little effort is enough to secure good marks.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 70000 per year

Placement Experience

Final-year students are eligible for Placement. The placement was not so good because we have less salaried companies not trustworthy. Also because they aim to show only how many were placed we have many companies but the salary will be 3 to 4 Lakhs per year very rarely 7&8 lakhs per year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for the first year is 70000+5000 application fees included and for the second and third years 70000, We have Puthiya Thalaimurai who is providing scholarships for students who have scored good marks in the 12th and 1st semesters as well. I have completed an internship for 2 months.

Campus Life

On campus we feel great because they have a good library and playgrounds and especially a food court, we have 3 plus big canteen and Asia's number 1 auditorium for enjoying number 1 college but classrooms are not so good it's average. Sports are played regularly.

Admission

The Admission process is on computer-based process, we go to the library building and add up our basic details like TC, Mark sheet, birth certificate, etc. Mainly the cut-off is 60% is eligible. The application form is available on the SRM Institute website.

the college also organizes technical events, workshops, seminar, cultural, festivals and placement training programs with helps students enhance their practical knowledge
the campus has a diverse student community with a healthy and inclusive atmosphere.
the aspects I liked the most were support faculty, disciplined campus environment.

placement opportunities may be stronger for certain branches and others
Wi-Fi connectivity can be inconsistent in some area in the campus
parking facilities may becomes crowded during peak hours

A good college with supporting faculties and positive environment

Commerce cours has an entire building as we have five division in B.Com itself.
Seminars and industry people are called to guide us for placements and what all add ons do we need to learn to get a corporate job.
Our fests is too good as otherwise college gate closed at 5pm but during fests it last till 10 pm.

Dislikes

Dress code which is very wierd both for boys and girls.

Placement Experience:

P&G, Deloitte, KPMG, INTEL and many others have started taking interest in B.Com students as well. Placements though our of 400 it is still around like 100 odd students get placed from campus and with a salary of 30-40k around.

Colleges which I have applied for was Sree Ramachandra institute in tamil nadu, MGR University IISER But I only got confirmed admission from SRM by writing a medical entrance exam.
