Life at SRM School of Law

Likes

The campus life is good. It is a very large campus with so many students and it is very lively.
The university is student friendly. They don’t force harsh rules and regulations on students.
The staff are friendly and approachable.

Dislikes

Curriculum and teaching can be better. They follow conventional approach in teaching.
Regular SOPs are missing and it’s often confusing.
Parking and driving within the campus keeps changing every day.

Placement Experience:

Placements are very mediocre. Few companies like Zoho, Agarwal, Etc visit for campus interviews but they offer less package. As for my knowledge maybe 2-5% get placed. I plan to practice as an advoca after graduating.

Remarks:

The main feature of the college is the really affordable fees structure which have been designed by keeping in mind the middle class and the lower middle class students of India. Employment opportunities are also provided in bulk. There is no negative aspect about the college whatsoever.

Good law College

Admission:

The admission in the five year integrated law program in attitude is done based on the score of CLAT exam. The exam is conducted annually for entrance into the top law schools across the country. Through the counselling of CLAT I got a seat granted in this institute. Since I was already late for admission I grabbed the opportunity when I got a seat allotted in this institute.

Law school

Remarks:

College timings are strict and the leave policy is very rigid. Attendance is updated every day and atleast 80 percent is to be maintained each semester. Other then that the hostel is worse as they do not send home and only give 2 permissions each semester.

Neither positive nor negative we must improve ourselves there is no one to push us behind our back. We must go behind lectures and find our own way to succeed. So both positive and negative points are there

SRM is value for money and peace

I needed a college with a free mindset where a student can study and enjoy at the same time...too much pressure onto the students is going to definitely make them fail or bring up fear of losing...so this college gives you the confidence that you can enjoy and study at the same time...Read More

Paramedicals pros and cons

Colleges which I have applied for was Sree Ramachandra institute in tamil nadu, MGR University IISER But I only got confirmed admission from SRM by writing a medical entrance exam. The reason why I chose this course was because my family friend also joined here for architecture and she said the placements are top notch and it provides multiple opportunities abroad I got rejection from IISER because I failed in entrance exam. The admission procedure for paramedical was to write an entrance exam, which consists of physics chemistry biology and english The overall admission procedure was a bit hectic...Read More
