- We have Lifts(4) upto 7 th floor. Which is really helpful.
- The faculty is very helpful. They will teach you with better understanding the topics.
- The campus is ragging Free . That's a big plus point for any new students.
Dislikes
- During the exam time or at rush hours you have to use stairs as 4 lifts becomes short for the amount of people. You have to use stairs to reach like 7-8 floors.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course designed by MAKAUT is of 4 years. In the 1st year all the streams have having same subjects in different semesters (1 & 2). From the 2nd year, you'll be introduced to the core subjects of your stream. For my stream it is digital system design, signal and system, electronic devices and many more will be introduced in the near future. Now as of Faculty in the 1st year, you might not like them but from 2nd you get to know about the faculty of your own department and each of them is really helpful in ambition.
Internships Opportunities
Techno has its own intership programs designed for its students during 3rd year but you can also get to join other companies if you're willing to. Like TCS or Wipro, the last one got a chance to do an internship in INTEl.You have to be ready to mark your chance and achieve it.
Placement Experience
The mass recruiter is TCS for my department but you can get jobs in different MNCs too, like Wipro , Cognizant, Google, Facebook, and Flipkart. Also by joining the club Samarth, you can opt for higher studies or govt. Jobs like upsc. The placement is good if you say also you apply for our off-campus job, whose record is good too. You have to study seriously or follow your passion to achieve these heights.
Fees and Financial Aid
As of my current knowledge, I haven't seen any fee hikes in a set fee structure, like it'll get increased with a new admittedly for them but not for the ongoing batches which is really helpful. You can get a loan through the "Student Credit Card" program at 4 % simple interest also you can get a Swami Vivekananda scholarship from the West Bengal government. But you have to apply for them yourself college will do their part efficiently so no problem.
Campus Life
First of all, It is a lively college with many clubs like IIC, GEEKONIX, ANKURAN, SAMARTH, SAMARITANS etc. They will give you the mindset needed for your future journey. About the College Campus, as It is located in Sector V, it is small but okay you have lift facilities but no AC classrooms(except labs).
Admission
After completing my HS(higher secondary 10+2) I was given JEE and WBJEE, in wbjee I ranked 17k in the state list and hence opted for Engineering in a private college(non-autonomous). Then in the 2nd councelling, I got my chance in Techno Main Salt Lake, 130 in Electronics and Communication I knew as of my rank anything better than that in the college was visible impossible so I accepted the offer by paying the admission fees. And now I am a 2nd-year student there trying my best to achieve the most.
