Remarks

I am really very happy to get this college. There is greenery all around. Campus is too beautiful. College life is best here.

Entrance Preview

I have appeared in UPTU entrance exam in 2016 and got an eligible rank to take admission in this college. I choose this college in counseling and I got this.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am from computer science. College is best specially for computer science students. Labs are really awesome. Digital library is provided.

Internships Opportunities

For internship many MNC companies come every year to give internship. It's student choice either they join it or not. Because , they charge a good amount of money approx 2000 to 3000.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placement is superb. Last year more than 85% students got placed. companies like Wipro , Cognizant, Infosys , Vivo etc came. They also provide really good packages. Highest packages reaches up to 35 lakhs. Average package is 4 lakhs.

College Events

4.5

A lots of technical fest, management fest, farewell, freshers are organised. Many celebrities are invited as cheif guest. Annual fest is really outstanding.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is approx 1.2 lacs per annum in 2016. The fee is not much more by seeing the infrastructure of college and the facilities that college provide us.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship is provided up to 70% of college fee to some students. Mostly who is belonging to obc, sc or st category has better chance to got scholarship.

Campus Life

4.5

Many programs related to engineering that increases our skills is organised by a number of clums available here. These activities is important to remove stage fear, to learn presentation skill and professional communication.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels environment is good. All types of rooms kike 1 seater, 2 seaters and 3 seaters are available on a cost of 75, 80 and 85 thousand respectively. Food quality is also good.

Alumni/Alumna

Hod and many staffs always visits our class rooms and keep them in contact with the students. Seniors are also very helpful. Ragging is never done here.

Exam Structure

Exams are two sessional in the interval of a month . After that a pre University test is also taken. Regular class test , viva, practical test is also taken.

Faculty

4.5

Faculties are mainly from South who speaks only in English. Some faculties are extra ordinary. Their lectures are great and easily understandable.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

The students could come through counselling or Cbse 12th percentage i.e management, counselling is done on JEE scores and 12th percentage should be more than 75-80% in PCM for unreserved prolly...Read More

Inside AKGEC Life

1) I had applied for colleges like jss noida,gl bajaj , kiet , akgec through UPTAC counselling for those who gave JEE Exam. i preferred this college because after reading reviews about it ,consulting senior students. 2) I could get this college based on my rank . I could not make it to other colleges because of their high cutoff for the CSE branch. 3) admission process includes direct admission where students are admiitted based on 10th,12th score and branches are alloted based on their score, 2nd is through the uptac counselling for students who want to get admission through JEE Score. overall admission experience was good....Read More

so bascially i didn't choose this college . i did mistake in my uptac counselling and get this college but when i studied here and seen all the aktu colleges i prefer this is good because it ranked 3 in up colleges .the college is ranked 3 in whole up and its naac A++ so yes its a great college so to get admission in akgec there are two ways by 10+2 percentage marks or by uptac counselling you have to fill your choices in uptac counselling so fill it very carefully without any mistake so the overall to get any cs/it branch your jee percentile should be above 88 and below that you can get any other core branches....Read More
