Remarks

I am just lucky that I got such a great college. Campus is too beautiful like park. All the freedoms are given here. A lot of fun is here.

Entrance Preview

UPTU entrance exam is conducted every year. Appear in this. Admission is done on the basis of rank in this exam. For CS branch, you have to secure a very low rank.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I am from computer science and galgotias is the most famous for CS. In 1st year , I have learnt c and c++ language. And, in 2nd year I am learning data structure. The college focus on practical learning .

Internships Opportunities

Internship is not provided us till now. But, may be provided in 3rd year. In other branches like mechanical and civil and electronics, internship was provided in 2nd year but not to CS and IT students.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placement is never a concern here. A lot of companies come here. Companies also praise students pf galgotias. They offer us very good package.

College Events

4.5

I just like the events of galgotias. Many celebrities which I see them on tv only, I saw them in real. Thanks to galgotias for inviting a lot of celebrities in its annual festival.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is 1.4 lakhs per annum. 10000 is security fee taken at the time of admission. Whole Fee is taken at a yime on the schedule date otherwise you wilbe fined.

Fees and Financial Aid

Rare students are provided with scholarship. You must be an U.P. student, to get scholarship. Chances for getting scholarship is higher to SC and ST category of students.

Campus Life

3.5

Many extra activities are organised by the clubs. A lot of clubs like dance, drama, fashion, singing, camcircle, sports etc are available.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostels are too good specially girls hostel. Where all rooms are big and all rooms have AC. But, washrooms are not attached with the room. All the necessary facilities are provided.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors help me a lot. But, you have to communicate with the seniors. They will not communicate to you. Any kind of help, you can ask to seniors.

Exam Structure

Exams are taken regularly. Class test and moral test is also taken sometimes. And lastly Pre University test is taken. It all help us a lot in final exam.

Faculty

Faculties are really too good. Their way of teaching is such that engineering seems to be a very easy course. They also motivate us.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

The campus has all basic facilities from food to stationary.

Dislikes

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

Likes

I liked the faculties of my college they are very supportive and helpful towards the students.
I like the curriculum which more learning based then theory
I like the support that is provided by the college towards the placements of the students

Dislikes

I don't like the attendence system of our college it very hectic to students
There is lot of focus on exam in my college which I don't like
Syllabus are not updated in our college we are studying very old things

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for this course because I want to be a software engineer. I chose my course because it was well-informed, and my interest was also in this field from the start. The faculty members and platform were also quite good for nurturing personal skills and making one a skilled and disciplined person in life. I wish this course would focus more on practical things rather than being theoretical. Events, fests, and the campus environment are also very good and pleasing to the eye. Connectivity was also easy from all around the world due to its location. Scholarships were also awarded to almost every student.

Galgotias College Brutal Honest Review

I have applied for Bihar State Nalanda college, chandi. It gave me aerospace engineering. I didn't choose that because their course curriculum with their faculties and college culture is not fit for getting placement. I wanted some placement oppurtunities through my college and GCET is suitable for it because of their location and college culture. My admission process of my college is through direct admission as well as UPTAC counselling. Direct admission is for those who have low JEE ranks and outside of UP and are early comers. Counselling is for merit based admission for UP students generally with better JEE ranks than direct admission students....Read More

I have also applied for JIIT Noida, but couldn't able to get CSE branch. However, In greater noida, comparing to other private colleges, GCET is much better option because of its location, fee structure, campus size. Admission process happened through AKTU counselling, also 15% seats researved for direct admission as well.
