Remarks

College management is a bit poor, the management seems to be reluctant to do their work other than that it is a good college where you can enjoy your college life

Entrance Preview

I got to this college through an entrance test named comedk.. i got a rank of around 15000...this college is one of the famous college of Bangalore

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

As I am in 2nd year I have not been in depth of the course but I could surely say that the course will be effective in my future. The focus on project activities start form the 3rd year where you have to develop mini project I will not be able to describe further from my personal experience but as I have heard it is quite good

Internships Opportunities

No not really the time of the college holidays contradicts the time of the internship so our college fail to provide internship to is. But they do offer some summer training that can be really helpful for our curriculum

Placement Experience

2.5

Placements take place in the months of April and may. There are over 100 plus companies taking part in the placements. The highest salary goes around 8 lakh rupees while the average package remains around 3.5 lakhs. Companies such as Infosys, cognizant, Microsoft etc take part as well

College Events

4

The college festival is celebrated with joy. There are different activities that the students could take part in and there are games as well that are really fun. We also celebrate Ganesh festival with full enthusiasm. Students showcase different talent of their own

Fee Structure And Facilities

Coming to the fee structure there are two categories. One of which is the students that come through comedk and the other is the students coming through kcet. The students coming through comedk have to bear an expensive fee of around 2 lakh while the others have to pay a fee around 50000

Fees and Financial Aid

No there is no such scholarship or loan facilities. If you want a loan you could apply to the bank and take a student loan but it is independent from the college. College doesn't help us in this regard

Campus Life

5

The gender ratio is 60:40. There is no discrimination among-st the students. As I have mentioned earlier extracurricular activities do take place where you can showcase your talent. Workshops are also conducted by the college that help us a lot other than that competition take place where students can participate and can. Increase their knowledge

Hostel Facilities

2.5

The hostel is quite spacious. The rooms are quite good and the bathroom is also well managed. There are two separate hostels one for the 1st years and other for the rest. Speaking of the mess it is more ridiculous than anybody can even think of. Washing machine facility is also provided by the hostel

Alumni/Alumna

There is none alumni that is known to me but yes seniors are quite friendly and do take care of ours. The guide us through several difficulties. Ragging is not an interest of this college in fact they help us settle in our new life

Exam Structure

While make comments about the exams I have to surely mention about the rescheduling of the exam timetable. It is a harassment for the student. The timetable is never fixed and can change any moment. Sometimes you are even not sure that tomorrow they are going to commence exam or not

Admission

I cracked the comedk entrance test and got a rank which was perfectly suited for my college. Went through two counciling process before being allocated to this college...one I got allocated to this college the next process was to just deposit the fee of the college and register my name in the particular college

Faculty

4.5

The faculty of the college is quite friendly. The are very interactive infact they are ready to help you whether you want them to. They work hard for the lectures and ensure that they proof effective to us. They also provide us with important notes that comes in real handy at the time of examination

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is a mix of both Computer Science and AIML which is increasingly relevant in today's world. Second year: Subjects like Mathematics for AIML, Data Structures, Stats for Data Science, Computer Networks, Third year: DBMS, ANN, ML operations Some other elevtives are also available and courses like Universal Human Values, POME, EIPR etc. Honestly, POME, EIPR, UHV should have less course credits and probably MCQ type exams (like IC and Yoga in first year). Curriculum is good and updating for applications helped along with projects. Exams are generally once in a month, 1.5 - 2 units for each subject each exam. Lab exams at the very end before CIE marks finalization. Then 2 weeks gap for Lab SEE, then 1 week gap and actual SEE's.

Placement Experience:

KSIT has an average placement rate of 70%-85% depending on the branch . CSE,ISE and ECE branches have higher placements while mechanical and civil have fewer opportunities in IT sector . Average package is about 4-6LPA . KSIT attracts many IT based recruitiers with some core companies for non -IT branches . It also provides pre-placement training, coding boot cams, aptitude tests and soft skills development . Alumni network is moderate, but students need off-campus efforts for high paying jobs
