- I liked the tech lab which is fully upgraded with HP setup and they run soomthly due to i7 processor installed.
- I liked the classroom which is full AC and cooled in summer .wifi is also free for eavery student.
- I like the library where various book are prsent and the security are also good.
Dislikes
- I disagree with many facilities which have not experienced how to teach.they have knowledge but not experience.
- Network issue is the biggest problem in campus sometimes call automatically disconnected due to network issue.
- Ground are very small in summer their is no place to sit on ground.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen the b.tech.(CSE). because many career options are available like AI, computer coding, data science, etc. If we talk about the ratio between teacher and student is 1:5. At least 260 faculty members are present and almost 40 teachers are Ph.D. If we talk about faculty experience not bad means many of the faculty are younger and have no experience. but many faculty are well-experienced. Overall we can say the faculty is good. Two exams are conducted every semester and two internal assessments are conducted which are based on online mode.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, the galgotias University gives many internship offer letters. And the company are BSNL, MTNL, railway, TCS, etc. There are various projects conducted by students on campus- Integrated farming and fish-keeping systems, Design of electric canon, Simplified model of a small scale, and Speed control of induction motor using the PWM technique. etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am studying in b.tech which fees are 159000 so it is costly . If we talk about scholarships there are various scholarships provided by universities. 100% tuition fee waiver of state topper students. 50% tuition fee waiver for those students whose JEE rank is under 4000. 25% tuition fee waiver for those students who achieved 93% marks (PCM), 60 %ile in CAT, and 600 above marks in MAT. 5% tuition fee waiver for those students who have been admitted through CUET exam.
Campus Life
THE GALGOTIYA UNIFEST is the biggest fest in north India organised by Galgotiya University which is conducted in April or May. The annual tech fest is also conducted by Galgotiya University. If we talk about the library there are various books at least 1.3 lakh books, 30,000 e-books, and 550+ national and international journals. If we ahead there are various sports and curriculum activities conducted on campus:- inter- collage tournaments, friendly matches, sports festivals, culture fest, etc.
Hostel Facilities
In the hostel, there are many facilities provided like:- laundry, a gaming room, free wi-fi, a wooden bed, a study table, a chair, almirahs, safe drinking water, a field, etc. If we focus on meals that is a little disappointing because sometimes the taste is very poor, the chapati is uncooked, etc. We can be registered in hostel easily, fees are different from the different rooms like- Triple sharing 100000(non-AC). Double sharing -126000(non-AC). Double sharing-155000( AC). Single sharing -130000(non-AC).
Admission
The admission process in Galgotiya University is both a merit and entrance exam based on various courses. If we talk about direct admission then the minimum marks in 12th is 50-60% depending on the course.
