What Students Say

Likes

I like the teaching style of teachers and appreciate the knowledge of the teachers.
Course designed in very easy manner and easily understandable by students

Dislikes

No sports either it is indoor or outdoor one.We have to arrang the sports items for playing items
Campus placements were going very bad and very disappointed

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I like coding and want to pursue a career in this. Faculty members are good and have a high amount of knowledge in their respective fields. Faculties are Ph.D. holders and their teaching style is good. There were 2 mid-sem exams and one end-term exam. If we regularly attend the classes and have a good bond with the faculties it is very easy to pass exams.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Placement Experience

Students are eligible for placements after the sixth semester and companies visited this year are Yamaha, nvidia and 10 students got placed in Yamaha with the package of 10lakhs per year. Students are applying for placements off campus. Actually, the placements are going on I have no idea about the highest package After completion of the degree I want to become a data scientist

Fees and Financial Aid

We have to give the fees for 8 semesters and the per semester fee is 98,900. Fees are the same for all the category students. Students can avail of a national scholarship scheme per year if they have a family income of less than 800000 lakhs per year. Students avail of education loans to pursue their studies.

Campus Life

Campus Life is very poor. Currently, classes are going on in the private college (SBIT, Sonepat Haryana). The college has provided the facility of the library which is open for only two hours. Amenities in the classroom are smart digital board, benches and low-grade Air conditioners. Talking about the sports,a intra college sports fest conducted in the college named agniveer and there is a single music club and coding club going on

Admission

First, we have to take the JEE Mains entrance examination and after the declaration of results, we have to apply for the JOSAA, and CSAB Counselling that happened online after completing all the counselling rounds we got admission to our respective colleges. Reservation helps those students who have low scores and higher rank in the Jee exam. The reservation also helps students avail of the scholarship scheme

Good Campus, Good Learning and Overall Experience

Likes

Good campus with a lot of greenery and a peaceful environment for students.
Teachers are mostly supportive and actical classes are helpful for understanding the subjects.
Good labs, library and sports facilities with many activities happening on campus.

Dislikes

Some administrative work takes more time than expected and can be a little confusing.
Hostel and mess facilities can be improved, especially in terms of food variety and quality
Sometimes the workload and attendance requirements feel a little stressful for students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course curriculum is quite relevant and covers the important basics of Biotechnology. We get both theory and practical classes which helps in understanding the subjects better. Exams are usually moderate. I think more industry based projects and practical exposure can make the course even better. Overall, I am satisfied with the curriculum.

Best affordable quality college for middle-class

Likes

Good and well-spaced campus of the college.
Good placements with high salary packages at reputed companies.
Good, affordable college for engineering, suitable for middle-class students.

Dislikes

Poor WiFi connection at times, when too many people use WiFi at the same time.
Generator works till 11pm only at normal days.
Hostel food needs improvement, lack of quality chefs.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after 6th semester. Numerous reputed companies offer placements, to name a few, these are HCL, Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), Wipro, Infosys, L & T, JCB, airtel, JIO, etc. The highest package to date is 27 lakhs per annum and the average package is about 6 lakhs per annum. About more than 85% of students get placed in good companies with a satisfactory package, however, good skills are required for a much higher package. I'll work hard to get a good package at a reputed company.
