What Students Say

Likes

Newly made Labs are great. Good computers good infrastructure.
All classrooms are fitted with smart boards.
Placements and college events are now picking up.

Dislikes

The quality of faculty is not good. I think upper management is to blame.
Faculty leave college very often even between semester.
The controlling nature of the management.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I personally chose Computer Science as I was interested in the field. The faculty ratio might be alright on paper but the quality of the faculty is not that great. Exams are usually conducted regularly.

Class Size: 700Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities

1.5

Many major MNC visited the joint placement app called Superset. We have a joint placement with all other SRM campuses. However, very few students even get an interview from the NCR campus. Even the ones that got interviews were girls.

Placement Experience

3.5

From 5 th semester companies for internships start to come to college but very few companies and even among those few companies very few get hired for internships. Placements used to be the best part about this college but this year is not going great.

Fees and Financial Aid

When I took admission in 2021 the fee was 200000 rupees per year and it is the same for me till now but for new students, it is about 350000 rupees per year now. This is just a tuition fee hostel and the mess cost is not included.

Campus Life

2.5

When I first came to college in 2021 after the pandemic college life was not that great events were to see and we did not even have a college fest but now it is getting better fest did happen last year and other events are also organized.

Admission

I took SRM JEE and through the admission process after that. However, I know some students who have taken admission directly to the NCR campus. I am also not sure about reservation benefits but if you have a good rank in srmjee you avail scholarship in 1st year.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

I applied for the JEE Mains exam but I had no preparation for it, I did no coaching for any engineering entrance exam, which lead to great anxiety during the JEE exam, this lead to me not achieving a great score in the exam. I was accepted into Christ University and Vellore Institute of Technology but the NIRF rank of SRM compelled me to join here. This campus being close to my hometown was the perfect choice for me. The admission process is really straightforward and I do not need to even describe it here it is soooooo simple....Read More
