I applied colleges such as SRM, MCC and the reason for choosing this college is brand reputation, their curriculum and other extracurricular activities. the admission process is simple 60 percentage above in 10th and 12th and personal interview with faculty (it mostly includes general questions)...Read More

I applied for very less college.since my cut off was low the possibility of me getting any Anna university affiliated colleges were less. So i wrote entrance exam for Amrita University and Vit. I did get Amrita but felt Vit had better exposure. They were lot of reasons as to why I chose this college. Of most the colleges I searched this had mechanical with specialisation courses. Doing a minor in something will make me a step ahead of every other mechanical engineer. I also compared the curriculum with many institutions, this was far by the best with perfect exposure. They have variety of other non graded courses to help me focus on my hobbies and interest. Their tie ups with many foreign institutions and industries will be an advantage for me if I use it in the right way. Again the only way of getting into Vit is through their entrance exam VITEEE. Since my cut off was low I had to rely on these entrance exams. Based on the rank obtained in the entrance we will be allocated a counselling phase and through that we can choose our respective course....Read More

I chose this college because A few of my known seniors had studied here and also looking back at the records of this college. It has been proved it's excellence. if it's in terms of placement records, or college life, or infrastructure, this college was better than any other that I applied for, making it my ultimate reason to choose this college....Read More
