What Students Say

Likes

Placement is quite impressive and placement cell is good.
sports facility are constantly improving and sports ground is good
very good and clean campus .Always they try to keep it clean

Dislikes

The last 2 electric branches are not worth it in this college
Society culture is not good . Students doesn't get involved
Teachers doesn't pay much attention to students

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course curriculum is nice. Our classes are from 9 of morning to 5 of evening. The faculty student ratio is quite good as it is a government funded college.Exams are very strict and on time.An average studen can pass the exams by a little hard work.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 12000 per year

Placement Experience

2.5

Placement of clg is very good.last year the higest placement was 40 lpa and 40 companies visited the campus and an average salaray of 10lpa. For top 3 branches placement are better than last 2 branches

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is different for different categories.Normally its 120000 per semester but according to scholarship it can vary.Placement is quite good but this year it is not upto the mark because of recession.

Campus Life

2.5

Campus life is good. They have a dedicated campu for you.10-12 events are covered and are average. The annual fest is quite impressive but other clg students doesn't participate much in the events.Advita is the cultural fest

Hostel Facilities

Hostel are of two types . 3 seater and 1 seater. You are alloted 3 seater at the first year but can change in the second year according to the cgpa.Hostel is cleaned everyday but mess food is not up to the mark.

Hostel Fee: INR 14000 per year

Admission

I took jee mains and scored 96 percentile.Admission was through odissa based allotment. They also provide admission through josaa.I was allotted Computer engineering branch.Good placement record as a GFTI college.I availed the OBC caste advantage.Sports facility are good and teachers are also good but that depends on your branch.Very good environment in college but it is located in the outskirts of Bhubaneswar so communication is a little hard.

Decent faculty and top tier placements, just follow the rules

Likes

I like the vibe of the canteen and greenery around my college

Dislikes

I don't like 75% attendance and the strictness of the faculty members

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

Likes

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

DRIEMS UNIVERSITY review after 5 year of frustrating experience legacy will be continued ????....

Likes

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.
