What Students Say

Likes

The events happens here are the main attraction.
Campus Life is just like you have seen in movies.
Gives a lot of opportunities to students to grow only of they want.

Dislikes

Management here needs to be improved for the convenience of students.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

It secter has lot of scope for future as it is growing industry day by day. On per 70 student there is a faculty member who will guide you here for the studies. All faculties are well qualified for big institutions. Exams are quite difficult here you have to study regularly to score good marks

Class Size: 72Course Fees: INR 159000 per year

Placement Experience

3.5

From 7th semester onwards companies start to visit the campus for hiring. You have to work hard on your skills to get placed from here as number of students is very high so your competition is quite tough. Almost 80 percentage of students get placed here.

Fees and Financial Aid

You have to pay equal fee all years there is no hike in academic fees however there could be a Hike in hostel fee . But you can apply for up government scholarship and university also provide their own scholarship based on past performance of the students.

Campus Life

So every year there is an annual fest named galgotias unifest where a lot of artists performs and it is conducted in the month of April. Tech fest like hackathons and many other are also conducted on a regular basis. There are more than 30 clubs here so student can choose any of them according to preference.

Hostel Facilities

All the facilities of hostel are good but they didn't provide you good food. Food quality of GU hostel mess is very poor. Hostel is alloted to you on first come first get service and you can choose hostel at the time of addmission. I would also recommend you to check some private hostels in knowledge park 3 area.

Hostel Fee: INR 126000 per year

Admission

It was quite easy as there were not any high conditions. I have more than 60 per cent in intermediate so that's what made me eligible. First, you have to fill online application form then you will receive an offer letter and after that, you can visit the college for further admission process. The process was easy and quite simple.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

I wanted to go to VIPS, Pitampura. I did get admission there but they did not update the 4 year course policy which was newly released by the govt on their website and ipu website. Due to this my budget messed up and I had to back up. I specially prepared for this exam but in the end I ended up going to a private university where I feel like I wasted my time and money. This university is not how it may look like. It may be good in terms of fees but the faculty and courses that get taught are like as if pursuing two degrees with no meaning. The admission process was simple and east. Fill an application form and go to GCET and get everything done there that's all. No complicated thing....Read More
