Likes

Faculties are really knowledgeable and good.
The cricket ground is humongous and cricket team is good.
The canteen is very good with economical food and great flavour.

Dislikes

The classrooms are a bit tacky and feels old.
The infrastructure is typical of government college.
Certain courses are a bit over demanding.

I was interested in commerce and thats why i planned to do bcom. All faculties are PHD in their respective fields and are helpful and knowledgeable in their subject. Exams are held frequently with continuous assesment of assignments internals and quizzes.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 14000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is really low with only 12-15k per year cost. Studying in DU colleges is really economical. Scholarships are not generally available but external assistance can help you in this matter. The placement rate is good.

Campus Life

The library is really huge with capacity of 150 at once. All genre of books are available in the library. The clasrooms are basic with blackboard and basic seating. Their is a big cricket field within the campus. Their are about 25 socities all of whom are active. Iris society is really doing well in photography and film making.

Admission

Admission was through cuet exam after which choice filling was made available to fill in your desired colleges. Reservation is really high and if you have some quota you can get in easily. The choice filling portal is a bit lengthy which can be made better.

SRCC- Asia's Best college experience

Placement Experience:

Students of 3rd year are eligible for the same. Mckinsey, BCG, Bain, Blackrock, Meesho etc being the most prestigious recruiters. Highest package varies, but it went around 36 L last year. Avg being around 8 L. I would say most students who apply for placements get placed, however only a few get placed in the top companies. I personally wish to pursue an MBA.

A Detailed Review on ARSD College

Course Curriculum Overview:

Although, people say that B.Com doesn't have a great scope to it, I feel like there are many life lessons that we are taught during our college years. Since the introduction of NEP 2020, there has been a rather great emphasis on practical learning. In our college, we are asked for presentations and group projects to promote learning and communication. The presence of SEC and VAC also helps you develop your soft skills, groom your personality and live a happy and healthy life. Exams are help at the end of every semester. There are a few guides and PYQs with the help of which a student can prepare for these exams. They are relatively easy in my opinion and do not require extreme efforts. Overall, it's a great experience and a great opportunity to learn so many things.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose b.Com because I am from a commerce background. It is an open college class held only on Sundays classrooms are good but washrooms are average. Teachers are experienced and well-educated. Exams are held on every 6 months semester wise you have to study hard to clear exams.

Placement Experience:

Well I was very clear to go for MBA after completing the program so placement was never a big deal for me but there are few companies which come every year at the last sem for placements and 10-20% get good placement.

I was given this college on the basis of the score in the CUET Exam which i gave after my 12th. It was a tough exam i would say because compiting with 20 Lac plus students for just a seat in DU is not an easy task. While preparing the prefference sheet and combinations for the college in the admission process was a confusing task. So i select all the cobinations of courses and colleges which i was eligible and then i also select my course and college, but i never thought that i would get it, still though i was happy that i get to study in one of the DU college. St Stephens obviously as for Science, its one of the best DU college. The cut-offs on which the admission matters had a massive difference in the kind of marks i had vs the actual cut-off of St Stephens.
