Remarks

College is good for the average income people. If you want good studies, guidance, facilities then don't go behind the infrastructure as the infrastructure is constructing. But the faculties and teachings are best in the college.

Entrance Preview

I got admitted to the college by cut off list issued by the University of Delhi. I scored 88.8% in CBSE 12th boards examination. I opted this college because I got positive reviews about the faculties and courses.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is too good. The college is best for commerce students. They will be benefitted by the teachings of the teachers. There are many more courses such as BSC, BA, and many more extracurricular activities. Bcom is the best course to have opted in the college.

The placement cell of P. G. D. A. V college is too good. Many big companies came to our college for placement such as HCL, TATA, MTV etc. More than 20 students got placement. They offered the packages between 30k to 40k. The package differs on their capabilities and companies according to their post to be in the company.

Dance, song, speech and many more activities are done. There is a star night on both the nights of the event. Celebrities come and give their performance.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible as it is a central government university. For BCom it has been between 12k to 15k.which is quite feasible than any other institute. It is not expensive. students can learn here with a respective cost. As compared to other colleges it is low.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, there are many scholarships and olympiads provided by the colleges. Students have to give following examination to get the scholarships to be availed by them.

One can fill his stomach with 30 rupees. The menu is large and varietal foods. It is known for the biggest canteen in the University of Delhi.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are very helpful they help the freshers. They help us in the admission procedure and also make us aware of the threats, rules, and regulations.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is basically tough. students have to face 2 semesters in a year. The course is vast and is to be covered in the specific time. students have to learn all the subjects and have to give semester examination. There are 25 internal marks which comprise of 5 marks for attendance, 10 marks for assignment, 10 for the internal examination and the remaining 75 marks comprises of the written examination paper. Students have to get 40 marks to get passed in the examinations otherwise they have to give the bank exams.

I got admitted in this college by cut off list issued by university of delhi. I fill the form of the university online. Then checked for the cut offs. In third cut off my aggregate percentage lies within the college cut off. I printed the college form and get to the college. The panel checked my aggregate marks and further proceeded my documents to be verified by officials for the admission. After the verification process i have to submit the examination form. It takes 3 to 4 hours to pay the examination form. I have to submit the admission charges within 24 hours through online ways or banking process. I submitted the all charges by banking medium and printed a recipt of the paid admission charges and shown it to the officails of the colleges.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty is too good. They are very helpful. Their teachings are too good. They are willing to help the students. They also provide the students with extra doubt classes to get their doubts clear. The faculty is provided with each subject the best teacher for every subject. The teachers are professors by their qualification. They are professors or doctors by their qualification.

Students of 3rd year are eligible for the same. Mckinsey, BCG, Bain, Blackrock, Meesho etc being the most prestigious recruiters. Highest package varies, but it went around 36 L last year. Avg being around 8 L. I would say most students who apply for placements get placed, however only a few get placed in the top companies. I personally wish to pursue an MBA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Although, people say that B.Com doesn't have a great scope to it, I feel like there are many life lessons that we are taught during our college years. Since the introduction of NEP 2020, there has been a rather great emphasis on practical learning. In our college, we are asked for presentations and group projects to promote learning and communication. The presence of SEC and VAC also helps you develop your soft skills, groom your personality and live a happy and healthy life. Exams are help at the end of every semester. There are a few guides and PYQs with the help of which a student can prepare for these exams. They are relatively easy in my opinion and do not require extreme efforts. Overall, it's a great experience and a great opportunity to learn so many things.

In the context of a fictional scenario, the placement scenario would depend on the specific college within Delhi University. Some colleges have robust placement cells that facilitate campus placements with various companies. The placement scenario can vary, and it's advisable to check with the specific college for accurate and up-to-date information.
