All About Galgotias University

The AI&ML craze is booming in India and the college provide the degree in comparatively lesser fees. So i chose this course. There are 5000 students in CSE department and they are divided into 56 sections, each section containing 60 to 70 students. For each section they provide mentors and two subject teacher per subject. So the ratio is quite good. All the faculty are phd qualified and every teacher has a unique teaching style. Although some are good but some are not that good. The exams are quite frequent. You will have mid term and end term exam in 2months difference and they also load you with IA's(internal assessments ) and quizzes. It's quite hectic. The tone of exam are quite theoretical. One can pass easily just by memorizing all the ppt's given by the faculty.

Companies like tcs, wipro, Microsoft ,they provide internship for task like front end or back end. Their company network handling etc. With a decent stipen of 15 to 20k, depending upon the work and the perfection. It may be less or around this.

On late 3 semester, they get the opportunity to sit in the placements There are many companies but some which are popular here are wipro, infosis, Autodesk, tcs, HCL, Adobe, Microsoft etc. Majority goes to mass recruiters but companies like Microsoft, Adobe, Autodesk takes less students. Almost 80% of student gets placed. Opting for a job incampus Or off campus.

The fees is quite constant for the past 5 years. It haven't been increased. The fees is affordable comparing with other colleges nearby. I didn't opt for scholarship cuz they don't easily give you. U can get discount on army family, sports quota Or jee marks.

There are several fest happening in college. Galgotias is all about events and fest. One can see the whole bollywood studying here. They also organize Hackathons, coding competition etc. . It happens randomly. We go to library only during exam time and it is full of modi ji journals. U won't get your course book cuz there will be someone who already issued it and the college keeps less quantity of it. The classroom are staircased in some and some are normal level. It is big and projector is also there. Galgotias is all about extra curriculum. You can play any sports, dance, sing, fashion, art literally anything. There are clubs for every activities and they are quite active. The galgotias student council is a big council run entirely by students. Under this, there are 23 different clubs for respective activities. It is very good to explore yourself.

I am currently studying Btech CSE(AI &ML). The eligibility for this course is 60% in pcm. But one can get in through management quota also.
