Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

My course name is Ba honours in humanities and social sciences and I opt this because it consists of multidisciplinary approach of gaining knowledge from several fields of Humanities and social sciences background

Internships Opportunities

3.5

CLUSTER INNOVATION CENTRE don't provide any specific placement to students but have good internship opportunities to students by providing internship opportunities such as VCIS and Google Summer of Code

Fees and Financial Aid

My fees per semester is 6000 rupees and for every semester I need to pay the same amount for the respective course. Apart from that we have financial support scheme also to reimburse the fees of economically weeker section of society

Campus Life

3.5

The College is well equipped with top class infrastructure and sports facilities but one of the major drawback of this institution is that there is very less college crowd and strength which affects the co ordination of sports and extra co curricular activities

Hostel Facilities

3.5

I have applied for hostel but I didn't able to get it because of huge competition Therefore I live in PG near my college which costs around 9000 per month. It is quiet expensive and normal or lower middle class people can not afford it

Admission

I had to appear for an entrance exam called CUET based on the marks gained in that exam I was allocated my college of Delhi University. This exam is conducted in several centres across India and every student who passed 12th was eligible to appear by filling NTA exam form of CUET

Course Curriculum Overview:

The BA English Honours curriculum at DU SOL is relevant and provides a strong foundation in literature and language. The course covers diverse topics that support academic learning and critical thinking. The flexible structure is suitable for distance-learning students. Adding more practical activities, updated study materials, and interactive learning opportunities could further improve the overall course experience.

Remarks:

Positive : the faculties are good and I could say our college is the meeting place of various cultures ranging from Kerala to jammukashmir Negative: the infrastructure is poor. Labs and libraries are not so good. And there are stray dogs who often steps into classes and make us afraid. College is not fully air conditioned but is on processing.
