Remarks

Yes, the college can improve infrastructure and also the placements can be improved. If there is facility of internships then it will bring a major change in the status of the college. For me it is an average college overall. I met with several new identities which are now the best memories of my life. Cannot forget my college life ever in my life. The college campus is average but overall it is acceptable.

Entrance Preview

I didn't write any entrance for this college. I got selected through the 12th standard percentage as per the DU instructions. There was no interview before admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The b.Com department is good, so its an added feature to the curriculum. It deals with the accounting stuff so that my interests also. There was less focus on practical learning. No, there was not any research initiatives by the college.

Internships Opportunities

The college does not provide any internships. Students has to take internships on their own. No stipend.

Placement Experience

4

The placement was not good as i heard from my peer. I think less than 60% student got placed. I didn't participated in any placement drive. Average package at that time was 1.5-2lkh p.a. as per my knowledge.

College Events

3.5

Yes, there was annual fest and several college level competitions where students from different colleges participate. Footfall is not so large. The fest last for 2-3 days depending on the management decisions. The events were organised in a good and secure way. College and students managed the event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Yes, the fees is affordable it is just 3700/- per year.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know whether college provide scholarship or not. I didn't put myself in this matter. Also never heard about scholarship in my peer. My friend had taken an education loan but that was not through college.

Campus Life

3.5

The college rating in terms of extracurricular was average at that time. Not much opportunities was provided to us. Since there is limited extracurricular so the facilities and organisation was good for the same.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Yes, there is hostel facility provided by the college. The rooms were on sharing. Yes, there is PGs also available nearby but college doesn't take responsibility of that , students are themselves responsible for PGs.

Alumni/Alumna

No , there is no interaction with alimni. The college doesn't provide any platform for student alumni interaction. Yes, alumni invest some time for development of the college.

Exam Structure

Yes, sometimes when we are busy with our labs and practical sessions and also extra curricular at that time tests were scheduled which adds another load to our heavy schedule. Not a chill culture according to me.

Faculty

4

The faculty is very good. Teaching quality is average and teachers are not that much interactive. They provide notes during classes. Also socially they deliver the assignments and study material also.

Placement Experience:

Students of 3rd year are eligible for the same. Mckinsey, BCG, Bain, Blackrock, Meesho etc being the most prestigious recruiters. Highest package varies, but it went around 36 L last year. Avg being around 8 L. I would say most students who apply for placements get placed, however only a few get placed in the top companies. I personally wish to pursue an MBA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Although, people say that B.Com doesn't have a great scope to it, I feel like there are many life lessons that we are taught during our college years. Since the introduction of NEP 2020, there has been a rather great emphasis on practical learning. In our college, we are asked for presentations and group projects to promote learning and communication. The presence of SEC and VAC also helps you develop your soft skills, groom your personality and live a happy and healthy life. Exams are help at the end of every semester. There are a few guides and PYQs with the help of which a student can prepare for these exams. They are relatively easy in my opinion and do not require extreme efforts. Overall, it's a great experience and a great opportunity to learn so many things.
