I choose civil Engineering course , because of the available of jobs in Govt sector Faculty is quit good in Number almost 1:25 ratio There is good no. of teacher who have good quit a better qualifcation like PHD and Mtech as well , Teaching method varies from teacher to teacher , some of them are exceptional good Term exams are held regularly and difficult level is normal

Placement option is available for almost the engineering branch company's like Capgimin, shaporplanonji larson and Tubro, vist the campus During my study years it was 12lac by Airtel 60%Placement ratio is over there i got the job in Corporate sector

Fees structure varies from Branch to branch such BTECH IN CS with AI specialization Since i belong to Jammu and Kashmir, we have a schlorship of PMSS Schlarship over there , i saw my punjab friend got the some kind of schlorship over there,

Campus Life

Hackthon held in may june, freshers party in jan Almost all indian and foreign journals are available Bench and Smartboards, all labs Hostel tournaments volley ball , cricket football, interuniversity events

Admission

ELGIBLIBITY, 12th with PCM, Application process will be done on Offical website Yes there is availability of reservations for Sc/st/ews students There admission process is so smooth and efficient, and there is a scope of improvement as well !

An honest look at campus

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro,cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed.The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

SLIET longowal has well structured curriculum as per new education policy with well structured labs. to prepare for real world, college provide funds for startup and also motivate students to gain industry exposure. Many improvements can be done in curriculum like integration of cutting edge technologies, smart board, digital labs. There are three exams per semester two minors which take place in month of august and september and major or end sem exam in month of october, the timing of exam was from 1 pm to 4 pm. the difficulty level of exam is moderate

Placements in lovely professional university is decent and dont know much about it as i am in 1st year only but there were mandatory Placement classes for all which you need to select in 1st year only for which you need to pay extra 20k for the classes.

Remarks:

Good staff are very nice and supportive nature. There are not any faculty problem. Functions are organized in a very large scale which is very good. Ragging are strictly banned in college which is very good for fresher students. BAD: lack of equipment and machines in labs. Lack of practical knowledge for students.

I like the all facilities of my college. I give all the advantages and disadvantages of my education and college.

I also applied for the other college because I thought that in India there are number of colleges which provide better education but some colleges staff could not behave nicely like punjabi university patiala staff. Then I apply for another Coll but they are fake they just took adminission of students and can't provide education. So then my friend suggest me to study at RIMT university because he also studied there and I also like the college and the facilities of the college . The staff and students are very good and I like the system of college. The admission process of my college is they don't take any exam directly take admission. Then they need some certificates and 12th & 10 th marks sheet. So they have proof that student is able to study in a college and they also give 10,20,30 % scholarships to students according to their percentages in board classes ....Read More
