What Students Say

Likes

I liked the infrastructure. The campus was well maintained

Dislikes

The 75% attendance policy. As it makes the schedule hectic.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I had intrest in it as well as I was influenced by someone. Faculty student ratio is like of a school. A class has 60 students. Some faculties know what they are doing but most don't. So you'll have to rely on other sources most of the time. Exams happen every 1.5 months and it's not difficult to pass it.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are research internships and many others. They provide intership on companies like TCS, Infosys, HCL and also internships at MNCs like JP Morgan amazon etc. They provide you with info regarding different interships on groups so that students can apply.

Placement Experience

Student can apply for campus placements at their 7th semester. 1339 companies visited campus and 12362 offers were made. Highest package was of 29 lakhs and avg was of 8 lakhs. With mostly beeing mass recruiters.

Fees and Financial Aid

It's overpriced for what it's providing and fees sky rocketed in recent year from 200000 to 300000. You get scholarship from college if you score above 9 cgpa. No financial assistance as far as I know.

Campus Life

There's an annual fest called rubaroo conducted in late April. There's also freshers conducted in September. DJ nights or organised 4 times a year. Not many good books outside of academics are available. There are sports tournaments. Tech hound.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

You get a table chair, AC(if opted for AC room), fan, and bed. Rooms have attached bathroom with 24 hr hot water supply. Mess is okay compared to other hostel mess. PGs are available in nearby areas at okay rates.

Hostel Fee: INR 156000 per year

Admission

student with pcm as their subjects in 12 board with 60% and 50% aggregate. You can find application online on SRM portal. You can also find everything thing else there. No reservations. No improvement.

Interview Experience

I did an online test for addmission. The question were from jee syllabus. It was a moderated test with a proctor present. Test itself is not at jee level. You can easily get good marks if you are prepared for boards

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

I applied for the JEE Mains exam but I had no preparation for it, I did no coaching for any engineering entrance exam, which lead to great anxiety during the JEE exam, this lead to me not achieving a great score in the exam. I was accepted into Christ University and Vellore Institute of Technology but the NIRF rank of SRM compelled me to join here. This campus being close to my hometown was the perfect choice for me. The admission process is really straightforward and I do not need to even describe it here it is soooooo simple....Read More
