Doing labarotory experiments and culture of nitc ,fests , sports and there is an inter NIT level sports competitions
Hostel which i was living was very good and where ever we go there will be an clean and green
food of nitc in NITC we get nyc food we get every origin of food

chemical engineering course is generally composed of different contents as general ,origanic and physical chemistry calculus based physics and differential equations . introdiuctory engineering course .basic computer programming the faculty are highly qualified and the facukty ratio is more enough forthe class size the teaching methods are advanced as like using AI for better understanding and grasping using of smart work is preferable by the faculty . exams are wisely conducted as id term and end term , so that students can grasp easily the contents

from the 6th semester onwards students can sit for the internship , and from 7th semester get preplacement offers , jobs ,bpcl ,hpcl mecon ,EIL,tcs , jsw, saintgobin,L&T , oracle etc.. and oracle offer highest package for chemical engineering students and percentage of placements are above 85% and plans after completing degree to get job in govt sector through gate or masters

fee structure will be depends on respective of catyegory but very reasonable when compare to the top universities , and worth , some scholarships will be applicable to the economically backward students and some are govt schilarships depends on the categories , college invites many more companies for internship and jobs and the placement percentage is above 85% very good at placement and average plcement is above 14lpa and highest is 50lpa

there are many mini fest and the main 2 biggest fests are RAGAM and Tathva these two very biggest fest in the college ,we guys very well enjoyed , availability of books are also very good a very large library will available and soft and hard copies both will available in the library, class rooms are also very well and very good , when comes to the sports respective of games institute provides coaches and everyday there will be daily practice session, there are many clubs club mathematica, AI clu,Tathava ,ragam tresurer clubs etc..

Admission

eligibility of the course is mandatory to complete 12th/ equivalent standard,and go to jee mains site and apply in the portal, fees of the application will will be prvide in the jee mains portal respective of catagory ,need to attempt jee mains entrance exam after getting qualified for jee advance need to attempt jee after that we can go through jossa counselling ,cutoff will be provided on catagory based ,we can learn many things physically in the nits

Good life memory

Likes

College ambience was too attractive. Friendly atmosphere ആൻഡ് very nice hidden spots and food spots inside the college
The faculty was too supportive and encouragive nature that was also in studies and extra curricular activities also that be very kind of them
There is not only aim to study but also encourage the extra activities. The management was also very supportive to students and also the faculties.

Dislikes

There is very strict to attendence. There was not to bunk the class every hour there will take the attendence and there will be absent they autimaticaly send sms to registerd phone
There is too many exams and assignments that will be little bit problem for students
Canteen facilities little bit bad in my college life time. There was not that much food veriety

Placement Experience:

From 6 th semester onwards campus placement taken. There was coming in bcs, infopark, wipro, etc. Companies are mainly appeared and also many other companies came select many students. The main companies take students in cutoff 8.5or9 cgpa. And some other compnies take students they have backpapers.

Likes

The overall environment here is great. Students coming from different backgrounds make us more capable of meeting new people who have different ideas and that makes things easier,apart from achieving technical greatness ,curtain clubs are here
These clubs gives opportunities to gain new skills and to showcase our existing skills, sports clubs are also present which will help improve skills in sports
Cultural clubs , technical clubs are also present here to aid in your interest

Placement Experience:

Upon reaching s7 students are invited for campus placement but they have to pass different criteria to become eligible for attending the interview, a minimum cgpa of 7.5 and academic skills a these are the basic requirements and an aptitude test will be given and in further selection these criteria are looked. I plan on pursuing a job after completing by btech. More than half the students in a batch are getting placed usually.

Students can get internships from First sem. Students become eligible from 7th sem for campus placement . The average package begins from 15000/- to most highest package of 25000/-. The percentage of students getting paced is 20-30%.I have been planiing to go to higher studies.

Campus, comparing from nearby college this college had good visual beauty may be because of the college been part 2-3 movies. Visually the college are too good with nature

Dislikes

The Placement is weak as there is no opportunity to get a proper core based job from what you studied mainly job opportunities come from call centres which doesnt require Btech to study. This personally felt too sad to be here to get placed in core.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As of the college comes under Ktu syllabus it has already has demerits of the university. Curriculum basically doesnot provide a realworld application uses. Just creates a knowledge on the course (and thats doubt) We need to courses outside the college to get the core jobs outside

The college provides a good atmosphere to truly get a job in the competetive world if we are willing to work for it.
They heavily monitor attendance to make sure that you take your classes so that you perform well in your exams
The facilities provided by the college are good as there are several labs and workshops for hands-on experience

Dislikes

The campus life can get boring and it feels like we are in a rat race.
Some teachers can be a bit apathetic towards the students.
The number events that encourage social interactions in not many

Placement Experience:

The students are elegible for campus placements from the 7th semester and almost all students get placements provided they don't have any subject yet to clear at the time of placement. There are several companies that visit the college for recruiting including but not limited to TCS, CTS,etc,.

The campus is a package pf greenery and the culteral events conducted there are good at the end
The faculties are good and maintain a decent teaching style
The sports activities are well maintained here

Dislikes

The hostel mess and the food is a bit not good from my opinion
The hostel doesn't have adequate wifi to accommodate the entire strength of students residing there

Yes the college is providing placement facilities and the College has its own placement and industrial relations wing that is said to study about the current industrial requirements and provide the adequate amount of training for the students

I wanted to get into Mechanical Engineering in any of the top NIT's so applied for all the NIT's in the NIRF ranking order with mechanical in every college so after the counselling happened to get into NIT Calicut. The admission process is through JoSAA Counselling where students come to the college after getting alloted but before that the student needs to clear the JEE Main Exam to get admitted into the college.
