Remarks

Our institute is entirely synchronized with internet and wifi.The quality of the classrooms is good. Everywhere we have internet facility.placements are great in the college almost there are no drawbacks to the college to say.the overall experience was awesome in the college.

in any nit's jee mains ranks are the main priority in filtering candidates.As mentioned earlier, I attempted AIEEE for the year 2015,by that i got admission in this college.no interview for college seat there is only online choice filling for college admission.this was the trending course that's why i took it.

Course Curriculum Overview

Regularly course curriculum will be changed for every 4-5 years once.so our course will always a trending one.A Total of 160 credits is to be earned for the award of B.Tech degree.for Practical Learning they gave very good priority in the Course Curriculum.many Research Initiatives are taken in the institute.

Internships Opportunities

yeah college is providing internship opportunities well to the students.The students who got internships are not much high. Some students did their internship at Microsoft Bangalore.the avg stipend amount is 10k.

Our institution has a dedicated center for Placement.nearly 90% of our students are placing every year. the average is close to 7 lakhs per annum. Companies which visited include Google, Oracle, Morgan Stanley, etc.

Lots of Events are there in our College. Major Events are TATAVA It is a all india Technical Fest. Almost Many Technical College students participated in this event from all over the India, Majority of them are from Kerala and South Indian Colleges. Major Cultural Event is RAGAM It is also a national level Cultural Festival.organization was well and great which is done by the students and also college authorities contributing the same for the events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Every NIT has a different course fee structure. In NITC, it is different for different categories. For OC and OBC it is 40,000/- per sem.For SC and ST, it differs for every sem.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are several scholarships available for students like E-Grantz, scholarship for physically challenged, scholarship for bright students.we can avail bank loan if required. All we need is, our parent's income certificate, land details and some supporting documents about which you can get the details from the bank. college also give help while getting the loan.

Campus Life

college was excellent in terms of extracurriculars.There are student societies like robotics interested group, team unwind, etc, but only few.we are getting ample opportunities to explore our inner talent through clubs and cultural and technical events etc,for that facilities very good and they always well supportive to the students.

Hostel Facilities

yeah i am residing in the college hostel.Hostels are good and Rooms are sharing except that of fourth year it is single room.we are having internet facility in our hostels .yeah in our college hostels there are many PG students also there. Hostel food is also good at a nominal price.

Alumni/Alumna

A good alumni network is present here. every year we are conducting Alumni meets here.they also help through recommendations and placements and end of our academics.our alumni is contributing a great to the students and also at college development they are good.

Exam Structure

the total exams and labs in the college are two Internal series of tests, assignments, Surprise Tests, Presentations, Seminars, For lab courses, marks are awarded for records, viva, and final exam which may be practical or theory.by all these we fell some tired at the end of the day.

Our faculties are wonderful. I just love the way our faculty teach us.Our teacher is highly qualified also,many of them are from iits or nits,etc.their Teaching standards are high and they are having a good interaction with the students.

Good life memory

Likes

College ambience was too attractive. Friendly atmosphere ആൻഡ് very nice hidden spots and food spots inside the college
The faculty was too supportive and encouragive nature that was also in studies and extra curricular activities also that be very kind of them
There is not only aim to study but also encourage the extra activities. The management was also very supportive to students and also the faculties.

Dislikes

There is very strict to attendence. There was not to bunk the class every hour there will take the attendence and there will be absent they autimaticaly send sms to registerd phone
There is too many exams and assignments that will be little bit problem for students
Canteen facilities little bit bad in my college life time. There was not that much food veriety

Placement Experience:

From 6 th semester onwards campus placement taken. There was coming in bcs, infopark, wipro, etc. Companies are mainly appeared and also many other companies came select many students. The main companies take students in cutoff 8.5or9 cgpa. And some other compnies take students they have backpapers.

The overall environment here is great. Students coming from different backgrounds make us more capable of meeting new people who have different ideas and that makes things easier,apart from achieving technical greatness ,curtain clubs are here
These clubs gives opportunities to gain new skills and to showcase our existing skills, sports clubs are also present which will help improve skills in sports
Cultural clubs , technical clubs are also present here to aid in your interest

Placement Experience:

Upon reaching s7 students are invited for campus placement but they have to pass different criteria to become eligible for attending the interview, a minimum cgpa of 7.5 and academic skills a these are the basic requirements and an aptitude test will be given and in further selection these criteria are looked. I plan on pursuing a job after completing by btech. More than half the students in a batch are getting placed usually.

Students can get internships from First sem. Students become eligible from 7th sem for campus placement . The average package begins from 15000/- to most highest package of 25000/-. The percentage of students getting paced is 20-30%.I have been planiing to go to higher studies.

Campus, comparing from nearby college this college had good visual beauty may be because of the college been part 2-3 movies. Visually the college are too good with nature

Dislikes

The Placement is weak as there is no opportunity to get a proper core based job from what you studied mainly job opportunities come from call centres which doesnt require Btech to study. This personally felt too sad to be here to get placed in core.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As of the college comes under Ktu syllabus it has already has demerits of the university. Curriculum basically doesnot provide a realworld application uses. Just creates a knowledge on the course (and thats doubt) We need to courses outside the college to get the core jobs outside

The college provides a good atmosphere to truly get a job in the competetive world if we are willing to work for it.
They heavily monitor attendance to make sure that you take your classes so that you perform well in your exams
The facilities provided by the college are good as there are several labs and workshops for hands-on experience

Dislikes

The campus life can get boring and it feels like we are in a rat race.
Some teachers can be a bit apathetic towards the students.
The number events that encourage social interactions in not many

Placement Experience:

The students are elegible for campus placements from the 7th semester and almost all students get placements provided they don't have any subject yet to clear at the time of placement. There are several companies that visit the college for recruiting including but not limited to TCS, CTS,etc,.

The campus is a package pf greenery and the culteral events conducted there are good at the end
The faculties are good and maintain a decent teaching style
The sports activities are well maintained here

Dislikes

The hostel mess and the food is a bit not good from my opinion
The hostel doesn't have adequate wifi to accommodate the entire strength of students residing there

Yes the college is providing placement facilities and the College has its own placement and industrial relations wing that is said to study about the current industrial requirements and provide the adequate amount of training for the students

I chose this college because of strong reputation , good placements and quality of education. I applied to other NITs and state engineering colleges and received some admissions,but selected this college because I preffered Electrical Engineering. I wanted to get into Mechanical Engineering in any of the top NIT's so applied for all the NIT's in the NIRF ranking order with mechanical in every college so after the counselling happened to get into NIT Calicut. The admission process is through JoSAA Counselling where students come to the college after getting alloted but before that the student needs to clear the JEE Main Exam to get admitted into the college.
