Course Curriculum Overview
Btech especially in computer science is actually the future. It assures success and a job in future The faculty nd students ratio is perfect we always have teachers available Qualification if faculty members is good most of them are phd holders from recognised universities Term exams are set by the university ie. Makaut . Exams are little bit tough and one has to work hard to pass
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for placement offers from starting of 7th sem Usually tcs Wipro Capgemini Accenture are the mass recruiters but due to recession these companies didn't visited though some are placed and some start up companies visited our college This year average pakage remains of 4lpa Highest is 18lpa It varies each year My plan is getting a job after this degree i want to get placed with a good package
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee structure is quite good according to the quality of education its providing and placement opportunities its creating Though the fees has increased still its affordable for middle class students Government Scholarships are available and one can enjoy tfw by scoring good in entrance exams. Swami Vivekanand scholarship is available for most wb students
Campus Life
Tech fest and cultural fest are organised each year clubs and seniors are quite active According to the fees structure we actually get to enjoy. Not like iits and big private colleges but it creates opportunities for students Library is big and provide semester books and some extra books as well Google development group is there cultural clubs are quite active Karate basketball volleyball are all played by the students under the vigilance of sports secretary. Its quite fun . As a small private college it's providing a lot
Hostel Facilities
4 people in a room quite big but not so beautiful. Mess food is great though the taste changes but the menu is greatly decided and students enjoy mess food Registration of hostel is done along with college admission. Hostels are big and available for most students still some prefer pgs
Admission
Student must be 12th pass with science to get admission in any BTech degree One can get admission through wbjee or jee These are famous exams west bengal joint entrance and all india joint entrance exams No reservations usually given only if one is from home state ie. West Bengal can get some benefits although students from different states can also give the exam and take admission Admission process is good as it is a state counseling process taken care by the state. Students get their desired college according to their rank in wbjee or jee
