What Students Say

Likes

Anytime you enter and leave college campus between 10 am to 5 pm on working days.
Very good teaching style of teacher as they are well educated.
Many clubs are there for extra curricular activities.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose my course because I like coding and have interest in computer and developing technologies. There are mainly 1 teacher ratio by 100 students. Mostly our teachers are highly qualified till PhD. They teach us very gently and clear all our doubt. There are semester end exam in 4 months and lengthy and easy.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 115603 per year

Internships Opportunities

I am in first year so I have not taken internship till now. But I asked senior so they said that you can also do online internship in 2nd year and college help in internship in third year. So it is a very nice thing about college that they gave attendance relief also in that period.

Placement Experience

3.5

Student ls are eligible for placement in fourth year and for internship in third year. Many company visit our campus like EY, hero corp, common vault,American express and more. This year autodesk take 4 students with package 40 lakh per anum. There are about 70 percent placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

We have to pay full fees of 115603 rs of full year as once in any form like draft cash and net banking. They help us in getting up government scholarship. The all scholarship work is done by registrar.

Campus Life

4.5

There is an annual fest name Unifest and every branch has its tech fest also. These all are generally conducted in month of April after the end of semester exam of first year. There are many author writed of all subjects in our library with many copies which is issued on I'd card for 15 days. All classrooms has projectors. There are many clubs in college for extra curricular activities like kalakrati for acting.

Admission

In taking admission to galgotia college I gave jee mains entrance exam and than take part in AKTU councelling. All the details regarding exam you can find on jee main official website. There is 25 percent seats which are filled by management quota(reservation). There is very late in AKTU councelling so college start late it should be improved.

Interview Experience

no we not get need to do any type of gropu disscussion as wecome by councelling done by AKTU university based on the score card of JEE mains given by sudents some stuent get directly admitted by 12 marks

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

The campus has all basic facilities from food to stationary.

Dislikes

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

Likes

I liked the faculties of my college they are very supportive and helpful towards the students.
I like the curriculum which more learning based then theory
I like the support that is provided by the college towards the placements of the students

Dislikes

I don't like the attendence system of our college it very hectic to students
There is lot of focus on exam in my college which I don't like
Syllabus are not updated in our college we are studying very old things

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for this course because I want to be a software engineer. I chose my course because it was well-informed, and my interest was also in this field from the start. The faculty members and platform were also quite good for nurturing personal skills and making one a skilled and disciplined person in life. I wish this course would focus more on practical things rather than being theoretical. Events, fests, and the campus environment are also very good and pleasing to the eye. Connectivity was also easy from all around the world due to its location. Scholarships were also awarded to almost every student.

Galgotias College Brutal Honest Review

I have applied for Bihar State Nalanda college, chandi. It gave me aerospace engineering. I didn't choose that because their course curriculum with their faculties and college culture is not fit for getting placement. I wanted some placement oppurtunities through my college and GCET is suitable for it because of their location and college culture. My admission process of my college is through direct admission as well as UPTAC counselling. Direct admission is for those who have low JEE ranks and outside of UP and are early comers. Counselling is for merit based admission for UP students generally with better JEE ranks than direct admission students....Read More

However, In greater noida, comparing to other private colleges, GCET is much better option because of its location, fee structure, campus size. Admission process happened through AKTU counselling, also 15% seats researved for direct admission as well.
