Course Curriculum Overview
Only this course in my opinion provides us with various paths of a successfull carrer. This was one the main reasons as to why I chose this course. The faculty : student ratio is almost 2:50. Most of the faculties here are well qualified some are even graduated from the top IITs. Teaching mainly ocuurs through powerpoint presentations. Exams were held in two halfs, Mid Semester Exams and End Semester Exams. Term exams mainly ocuur with a 5 months gap.
Internships Opportunities
The summer internships offered by the collage every year are sometimes under some professors and sometimes reputed comapanies like Google and Microsoft also offer intership oppurtunities(both paid and unpaid). Also in the last year the students need to arrange a project for their cv for interviews in the companies.
Placement Experience
Every year all the students are 100% placed however the type of jobs offered differ according to the skill set of the students. The students start getting placement offers from the end of the 6th semester. The companies who over the years visited KIIT are Camgemini, Cognizent, Amazon, Intel, Hynndai etc. The average package offered has increased considerably every year where 2023 saw a average package of about 6.5 lpa. I have plans of aquiring a good job after B.Tech in KIIT University.
Fees and Financial Aid
Before 2020 the course fees were Rs150000 per semester. But after the COVID period the fees hiked to Rs175000 per year. Again previous year the collage completed its 25 years of journey so they again elevated the course fees to Rs.190000 per semester.
