Likes

Campus is too clean. So we have no problem with hygiene.
Playground of the campus is so big to play any game.
Classrooms and building are so beautiful.

Dislikes

There have a few lift. So we have to face problems everyday.
Canteen food is more expensive and unhygienic.
Dress material are so poor (in uniform).

Course Curriculum Overview

I want to be a critical care technologist. Faculty student ratio is probably 1:5 . Qualification of faculties are BSc , MSc and Phd also The teaching methods of every faculty is very good. Exams are happened in Every 6 month after.and there is no difficulty to pass for care of faculty.

Class Size: 87Course Fees: INR 88000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I am now in second year so I have no experience about internship. But we hear that there is many chances after getting this degree. So the only work we can do is waiting for right time and studing hard.

Placement Experience

After last semester students become eligible for campus placement. Highest and average package as per company are 20000 to 50000. 60% is enough to get placement. My plans to become a professor after getting the degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

We have to submit 44000 rupees in every 6 month after. So it is costly for few students who are belong from a normal poor family. College provide us a scholarship or applied for aykashree scholarship.

Campus Life

University celebrate Durga Puja, Christmas, poush mela, annual sports etc. we need more books for our course. And library is clean. Sports like football, basketball, badminton are played by students.

Hostel Facilities

There is a bed a table a chair and also a almari for me in my hostel. Meal quality is so poor. We have to submit our results and details information to register in hostel. The locality of my hostel is so well

I am so satisfied with this course. This course help me to know about human body and it's treatment You can find the application form from online and offline also. There have no application fees. To know the application date you have to contact with University.

The college is the mother institute of nursing in West Bengal. As a result it is well disciplined with knowledgeable teachers who are strict ,punctual and well disciplined.
The quality of social interactions are very high as ward duty is a part of our course.So,we have to deal with patients everyday since first year.This made us social and enhanced our management skills
Teaching methods include ppt along with detailed lectures from faculty, also Nursing skills are taught specially in Labs for every Nursing procedure and technique.

Dislikes

Very strict environment, only female in the course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course as it makes us disciplined and trained for any future jobs.The curriculum provides extreme possibilities for real world applications.I would like the clinical hours to be reduced. The frequency and timing of exams are easy to give if one studies.

I appreciate the location, campus environment and the faculty. The collage is situated in a convenient and peaceful area. The campus is well maintained and the campus employees are very supportive.
My engagement with campus life has been very positive. The quality of social interaction is warm and inclusive. It allows me to express myself at my fullest.
The faculty members are highly knowledgeable and are always approachable. their teaching methods are highly interactive it blends theoretical concept with practical application.

Dislikes

In library some subject books are not available and also the condition of some books are not good.
The food provided in the canteen are not affordable for everyone.

Placement Experience:

NSHM provides an opportunity to get enrolled in reputed hospital during the 4th year of study. The highest package provided was 4.2 LPA and the average pakage is 2.2 LPA . 100% students from last year got placement at good Multifacilities hospital and diagnostic centres,while some opted for higher studies.

Here the campus is very green and the environment is good
The professors are well experienced and teaching style is unique

There is a lot of vacency in professors which is not good
Here the student teacher ratio is not good

My college campus in large & good environment
Teaching faculties are also good and supportive
Canteens are also present in campus which makes our college life more easy for fooding

Dislikes

College is new, so more facilities are not available at this time
Hostel facility available but less rooms in number so many students are not facilated for this facility
Our medical College emergency hospital distance is long so we faces some journey issues

My college is new so i think teaching faculties are minimum. If faculty is larg in number so our study is more easier. Some teachers are busy with their operations, hospital ward rounds so we not to meet & solve our study problems anytime.

Location because it's in the southern Kolkata side, so the vehicle availability is nice
Timing cause it's not that far from my house.
Programmes cause the all types of program like cultural programmes, educational excursion etc are good.

Dislikes

Campus life is quite boaring for nursing students
Surroundings are quite dirty around the college
We have not any library access to our nursing college

Likes

Exposure to extracurricular activities inside and out side of the campus
Taking proper presentation and giving marks other universities just ask students to upload the file

Dislikes

If there is a stationary shop inside the campus it will be very good
Very strictly you have to maintain attendance

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because i have interest in these field and also it is a growing field. For those who want to take addmission in this course it will be a great choice .. the environment of brainware is very good the faculty members are very friendly and helpful. There is also a mentoring option in the university for every course there is a mentor teacher allotted of every class that helps very much the students. Talking about tha qualification of the faculties they are highly educated Some of them i know are retired professor of jadavpur university. The exam system in brainware is mostly good from the 1st sem they take power point presentation infront of class to master the public speaking.

Likes

College building ground. Faculty memebers.
Placement are very good. I like also our library.

Dislikes

Nothing i dislike as much but hostel meal i dislike.
College timing starts in very morning . 7:30 am so i dislike.
Ward duty i like. But 5 hrs standing is hard.

Placement Experience:

From the 8th semester students become eligible for campus placement. Students get jobs in Many hospitals or colleges. The highest package is 40000 and the average package is 30000. 90 students of this college getting placement.

SNU - A bizzare

While I was looking out for colleges, I had applied to satyabhama institute of science and technology, Xavier's law college bhubaneswar, Christ University Pune and several others. I had got selected in all of the above mentioned colleges but had to take admission in SNU as I'm a resident of west Bengal and Kolkata is the most nearest and accessible city to my home. My family was not in favour of sending me to different state altogether with unknown different culture and unaware societal pattern. Moreover, SNU offered me 100% scholarship on tuition fees while the above mentioned colleges have exorbitant fee structures. I had applied for CUET entrance test targeting BHU but unfortunately I couldn't appear for the cuet exam and couldn't make it. The admission process to my college is really simple.
