What Students Say

Likes

I really like faculty and environment of my college.
There is no such restrictions for dress code.
There is no such registration for arrival & departure to college.

Dislikes

There is no lift available in my college
There is no facility for seating at cafeteria.
Washrooms are not that clean in the college

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

As we know... Artificial intelligence and Data science is our future so by taking it in my mind I chose it. Faculty is really good in our college. Most of the faculty is highly educated & teach you very effectively. There are two term exams in every semester. Which are not that difficult... If you'll study 2 hours daily barring college hours you can easily pass.

Class Size: 74Course Fees: INR 117000 per year

Placement Experience

4.5

Students get placement offers from 6-7th semester. It also depends upon your skills & ability. There are many companies like Wipro, Microsoft, Google etc. which normally visited every year. Students needs to maintain atleast 7.5 CGPA for eligibility for every company.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is really affordable. 116000 for an year. Apart from it 7000 of per semester for aktu examination fees. So I think it is eaisy value for money. There are lot of scholarships facilities.

Campus Life

4.5

A lot of fest & programs get organised in our college according to the festivals. In library you can take any book you want. Every sport is available in our college & many extra curricular activities happens in our college. A lot of clubs is also there for your development and awareness

Hostel Facilities

4.5

In hostel rooms. There is high speed wifi separately in Every room. There is big room available with decent single beds. Meal is descent. There is breakfast, lunch & dinner. You can take college hostel directly from college admission cell.

Hostel Fee: INR 130000 per year

Admission

Firstly... I tried for direct admission but it couldn't get possible because of less marks in 12th... Then I tried via counselling.... So I needed CSE or any specialization in it. So I got AI&DS through Jee mains counselling. The overall cutoff for AI&DS was around 409578.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Likes

I liked the faculties of my college they are very supportive and helpful towards the students.
I like the curriculum which more learning based then theory
I like the support that is provided by the college towards the placements of the students

Dislikes

I don't like the attendence system of our college it very hectic to students
There is lot of focus on exam in my college which I don't like
Syllabus are not updated in our college we are studying very old things

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for this course because I want to be a software engineer. I chose my course because it was well-informed, and my interest was also in this field from the start. The faculty members and platform were also quite good for nurturing personal skills and making one a skilled and disciplined person in life. I wish this course would focus more on practical things rather than being theoretical. Events, fests, and the campus environment are also very good and pleasing to the eye. Connectivity was also easy from all around the world due to its location. Scholarships were also awarded to almost every student.

I have applied for Bihar State Nalanda college, chandi. It gave me aerospace engineering. I didn't choose that because their course curriculum with their faculties and college culture is not fit for getting placement. I wanted some placement oppurtunities through my college and GCET is suitable for it because of their location and college culture. My admission process of my college is through direct admission as well as UPTAC counselling. Direct admission is for those who have low JEE ranks and outside of UP and are early comers. Counselling is for merit based admission for UP students generally with better JEE ranks than direct admission students....Read More

I have also applied for JIIT Noida, but couldn't able to get CSE branch. However, In greater noida, comparing to other private colleges, GCET is much better option because of its location, fee structure, campus size. Admission process happened through AKTU counselling, also 15% seats researved for direct admission as well.
