Likes

Culture, friendly nature faculties and placement
Campus is very beautiful ,large campus and auditorium also
Class ratio is very gorgeous 1:60 this advantage to the students

Dislikes

Some non technical staff are very rude and unsupportive
Outsider are enter easily without any permission or permit which is not good for the students environment
And placement is not for all students only 50 percent students placed

Because this course is will be very demandable in future Ratio of student and teacher is 1:60 Generally All the faculties are PhD holder and their teaching methods is unique and polite 2term exam are held 1 is on the half of the year and 2nd is on the last of the year

You are eligible for placement after 5th semester and you have to apply for placement with placement and training office 50 percent of student are placed every placement event .my plan of getting degree I want to work for multinational companies for foreign countries

Fees is quite affordable and students also will be applicable for scholarship and the campus placement is occurring every month If you want to study here then your monthly expenses will be 5k to 6k around everything included I am a 2nd year student but my seniors got placement

Aligarh Muslim University is renowned for his culture and heritage views and here senior are very helpful nature supportive in nature and infrastructure is very gorgeous Library is Asia's largest library All sports facilities are here There are so many social groups ngos are here

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is allotted after the admission process it may be started with after 1or two month of starting classes and you have to submit your file for hostel allotment and after one or 2 day your room will be allotted and this same day you may start your dinning meal hostel fees is affordable 3700 Hostel meal is healthy and affordable

Great learning environment, experienced faculty, and value for money education.

Likes

The faculty members are very supportive, highly experienced, and always ready to help students with their queries.

The campus has a peaceful learning environment with a good gender ratio of around 1:1 for boys and girls.

Dislikes

On-campus placement opportunities are limited, and students mostly need to look for off-campus jobs.

More practical exposure and industry-oriented training programs should be added to the curriculum.

A Balanced Review of My College Journey

Likes

The college regularly organizes seminars, cultural events, and technical activities, helping students improve their confidence and skills.
The library, computer labs, and classrooms are well-maintained, providing a good environment for learning.
The teachers are experienced and explain concepts clearly. They are approachable and supportive whenever students need guidance.

Dislikes

Some practical sessions need better equipment and more hands-on training to match industry needs.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our College are decent. Students become eligible from the 5th/6th semester, and companies from media, PR, and digital marketing fields visit for recruitment. The placement cell also provides training, internships, and guidance. After graduation, I plan to explore both campus and off-campus opportunities in media and communication fields.

Field visits and professor are understandable
We attends many fields for exploring and figure out
Timings are perfect and we enjoy the lectures as well

Dislikes

Canteen food the only thing I don't like about my college

They give us lots of opportunities before summer vacations in terms of internship and after the final semester of exams they take our interview and give exact amount of opportunities and don't disappoint us

Likes

The faculty of the college is very supportive and understanding
The campus is also very nice you can easily find your comfort in that campus
Classrooms have unique facilities with smart board in every class and every class room is air conditioned

Dislikes

The first thing I don't like is the college food from canteen because it doesn't not have many options
The second thing I don't like is the sports facilities in the college because there are not every sports available specially football is not available
The third i don't like when the mobile network doesn't come in the college and we face a lot of problems for this

Placement Experience:

Let me talk about the placement of this college the placements and internship facilities of this college are very good for every student who are studying in this college the famous companies such as AVP news ,Aaj Tak , the truth 24 and various news channel comes for placement and internships almost each student gets placed

Amazing

Likes

I liked the safe enviornment of the college
All the teachers are very supportive and helpful
The concepts are easily understood by the students

Dislikes

The variety of the food can be more but its not so
There are many activities which can be restricted
No fixed timing od dispersal sometimes you have to be extra time

If i had to talk about placement its really nice amd many deserving students are also getting it amd easily placing over different places but it is also on students how much they wirk hard for it. Thank you

Likes

The fees is affordable in comparison to Delhi University.
The scholarship scheme is definitely helpful for those who are economically weak.
The main campus has a central library so its quite helpful

Dislikes

The books in the central library are quite outdated
The lack of infrastructure in the affiliated colleges of AU
No merit based scholarship scheme available for the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm from humanities background so the course is quite relevant for me. The course is quite outdated however it's the same for most of the universities. the curriculum should be aligned with the competitive exams and the teaching methods should be more inclusive about the competitive exams so that the student can prepare well not only for the present course but also further upcoming exams.

I like their distance education so that students can complete their graduation

A Glimpse of Life in Aligarh Muslim University

I chose this college mainly because of the less fees structure and the greenary campus , a good place to study.Moreover, I'm preparing for govt exams also, so the time needed during M.tech. is enough to focus on exams too. Also, I don't want any gap between the study and job as we have to justify later during interview (the year gaps , if any). Moreover , lot of opportunities are also possible in foreign countries too , and we are also eligible for Assistant professor post (if any). I applied for this college only. Highly affordable fee of course and hostel fee. Hostel provides us so many facilities in a very basic pay of 1500 per month including mess and other things. For m.ed we have to prepare for an entrance test. Forms of amu m.ed are generally out during january- march period. The paper is of 100 marks, only mcq, based on core papers of b.ed. the cutoff is around 55+ for general+external candidate and 40+ for internal. The admission process is smooth and easy.
