Remarks

College management was very cooperative and helpful. They helped us at every part how to succed and how to tackle difeerent problems at different steps.

Entrance Preview

CET entrance test and after counselling I got this college. I score 10000 rank but luckily i got this college. I want to become an engineer since i pursuing 12 th.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum was very good then I expected. I have done btech in mechanical and i learned a lot and i also have experience of 4 years in this mechanical line, with this learning i lead companies as development manager.

Internships Opportunities

Companies came at our placement time but unfortunately i am not placed. Companies synergy , gne enterprises came to our college. I had done training in gne enterprises.

Placement Experience

Placement opportunities are very good for all branches. Many companies came and hire thousands of students. My friend placed in synergy international mohali but they didnt provide appointment letter.

College Events

Partcipated on annual fuction and also in techfest in various activities. Participated in skit and won first prize. During tech fest gippy grewal the famous singer came in our college and we enjoyed that moment very much. I also dance at stage during that moment.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was feasbile. Not so expensive not to low. Middle class student can afford easily. Deposition of fee was very good. College will inform us about fee structure of next semester in prrvious semester 2 months ago.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scolorship facilities was given by our college. My friend also availed these facilities. I didnt avail because i am not eligible for that facility at that moment.

Campus Life

Campus life was very awesome. Hostel life was very awesome. We enjyed a lot in hostel. Sports arrangement for hostel students, gymaanisum was very gud. Debate compition and other competition like gk quizzes experiences awesome.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities was very great. Accomodation mess food was very gud.sports facilities in hostel was great. I participated in so much activities and won prizes.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very good nature. They helped me in hostel during study time also during various activities. They motivated me. I appreciate my seniors guidance towards me and i am very thankful for them.

Exam Structure

Lab structure was very good. labs are equipped with latest technologies and during exams exam conductance and system of exams was very good.

Faculty

Faculty was very cooperative and of very nyc nature. They helped me at every step in college. My favourite sir was mr. Gautam. They supported me evrytym helped me during study tym. There teaching method was liked by all my classmates.

Likes

The infrastructure is great with state of the art labs and equipment
The library is really nice place to study
Lots of hangout spots in and around campus

Dislikes

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

An honest look at campus

Likes

The university boasts an excellent, massive campus infrastructure with great amenities and highly diverse student crowd provides great cultural exposure
While the engineering batches naturally leans towards more boys (around 1:3 girl to boy ratio)
Availability off dedicated campus mentorship programming and technical club provided a great platform.

Dislikes

The campus administration enforced incredibly strict security and daily restrictions which feel a little overwhelmed
The total no of students in a course like cse is massive. So the competition for the high tier placement is very intense.
If we need any information or some help from the administration they will make it lag and go to that window this window and we will not get the information ww required

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro,cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed.The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

LPU's REVIEW WITH HONESTY AND CREDIBILITY

Likes

The Scholarship benefit is good when compared to other universities the fee is also not very huge.The Infrastructure of the campus was vast and there arelots of stall to purchase food items etc
There is a big mall through which You can get necessary items .In every hostel you will have departmental stores
The faculty was highly qualified. The Placements opportunities are also good The average was offered was 5-6 LPA.The Lpu newly Launched Education Revolution is very good for students

Dislikes

The mandatory 75% attendance policy for every subject.If you not maintain you will debar from End term examinations which is not all good
The Roads are not that much good .The roads are made of parking tiles instead of Thar
The distance between hostels and main gates are nearly 1.5 -2 km which not at all good .but there e-rickshaw they charge 15 rupees per person to drop from hostel to main gate

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

The environment of the college is so nice, helpful staff, AC labs for CS deptt.
Canteen and water facilities and park in both deptts
Skilled professional educators and tutors

Dislikes

Distance of travelling coz for me its too much far
Nothing as of now everything was good enough

Placement Experience:

- Limited campus opportunities were available, and most students become eligible from the final year. - The average package was around 2-5 LPA. - after my degree my plan is to improve my employability my strengthening my technical skill in my domain

Aqi was soo good because plants and tree was so much

Mess food was bad but it doesn't taste that bad
If we Complaint about anything college mostly ignore it

From 7th sem students become eligible for campus placements and tata or Infosys companies visited and about 60 to 70 percent students were placed and my plans after getting the degree is to opt for higher studies doing mtech from iit

I like the machines that's why I choose the mechanical branch in engineering line. Noida , Gurgoan , Chandigarh , Bengluru and many other areas for improvements in the course curriculum and teaching methods.

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Likes

The sports and the various facilities that they provide for relaxing
The Library that remains open till 10-11 at night for those who wish to study till late
Great mentors and very helpful teachers who are always willing to help

Dislikes

The hectic schedule and curriculum that the students have to follow.
The lack of certain facilities that would help the students improve thoer personalities
Too much strictness and restrictions with everything that someone wishes to do

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum

I like the all facilities of my college. I give all the advantages and disadvantages of my education and college.

I also applied for the other college because I thought that in India there are number of colleges which provide better education but some colleges staff could not behave nicely like punjabi university patiala staff. Then I apply for another Coll but they are fake they just took adminission of students and can't provide education. So then my friend suggest me to study at RIMT university because he also studied there and I also like the college and the facilities of the college . The staff and students are very good and I like the system of college. The admission process of my college is they don't take any exam directly take admission. Then they need some certificates and 12th & 10 th marks sheet.
