Remarks

College is not in the proper city location. But this is one of the best college for low scoring students, they can easily survive in the things happening in this college. Like low scoring students wants less study and less academic things, so college do not make a compulsion on that for these students. My overall college experience was nice and I enjoyed a lot my college life.

Entrance Preview

No any entrance exam I had given. I got 77% in final year of diploma. This marks were considered for my admission in engineering. I preferred this college because college is nearest to my home. I got admission in direct second year after diploma. I have done my diploma with Mechanical stream, that's why I choose mechanical stream for engineering.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

I choose mechanical engineering. Mechanical is always on top amongst all. Mechanical engineering syllabus includes knowledge of all things. The syllabus of the mechanical engineering is good to learn. Our college is mainly focuses on practical learning. Lectures are taken regularly. But less focus on any research. There is no elective option available.

Internships Opportunities

College provides internship request letter to get internship by students themselves. No any company visited for internships. Don't know about stipend.

Placement Experience

2

Actually from last 2-3 years, our college placement scenario is bad. Our college TPO (Training & Placement Officer) is really trying for students placements. But less companies are visiting to our college. Around 10% students got placed in the campus. But most of the students got placed in other college campus recruitments by visiting other colleges. Package is about Rs. 2.5 LPM.

College Events

3

Technical events like Gokart, Technocad, Robo competitions are taken each year. All fests are taken.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is quite high. fees are different for different categories. For Open category, it is Rs. 96,000/-. For OBC category- it is Rs. 52,000/-. For SC category- it is only Rs. 190/-. For Other Reserved categories- it is about Rs. 10,000/-.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are for reserved category students like SC, ST, NT, OBC and also for EBC students. No any scholarship for topper students. I got OBC scholarship from state government for my college fees.

Campus Life

3

Not good.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

No. I was not staying in hostel. College has only boys hostel. Rooms are on sharing basis and charges are Rs. 3500/- per month and food in our canteen is good.

Alumni/Alumna

Poor interaction with my alumni. This thing does not helps in improving college and students development.

Exam Structure

Sometimes I feel tired because of exams in the college but it does not making feel tired frequently.

Faculty

3

Most faculty members are M.Tech level and also having some teaching experience in their subjects which they are teaching. Interactive level is good. from my point of view, the lectures are so boring.

Placement Experience:

Placements at ADYPU are moderate and structred . Students usually become eligilble from the final year for campus drives. Various startups and mid level comapnies visit for roles in sales, marketing, operatioons and tech support . The highest pacakage generally ranges arounf 45-50LPA , while the average package is around 4.5-6 LPA , depending on the profile . A fair percentage of active students secure placements. After completing my degree, i plan to focus on skill development and pursue better career op;portunities.

Placement Experience:

placements in GHRCE are pretty good for CS/IT branches. Students become eligible from 7th semester, but companies starts giving training sessions from 6th sem itself. Many known companies visits like Tcs, Wipro, Capgemini, cognizant, Infosis etc The highest package goes around 20-22 LPA while the average package is around 5-6 LPA. Almost 70-80% students from CS/IT get placed. My plans after getting the degree is to get a stable job and then do masters.

Government College of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Artificial Intelligence & Data Science)
Reviewed on Mar 2, 2025(Enrolled 2022)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course out of sheer curiosity and intrest in the field of Artificial Intelligence . The course offered by the college encapsulates all the major subtopics included in the field. Theoretically the curriculum offers great knowledge about various topics from your course however you yourself have to figure out how do you build your practical skills which you can use in the real world. teaching methods can be improvised by implementing a more practical learning based approach rather than relying on the theoretical part of the subject. there are 2exams per semester, one small exam called as mid semester exams and the other one is the major exam called as final semester exam. difficulty of exam is usually easy to moderate and one can easily pass the exam even if he/she does not study regularly.
