Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because it was my keen interest to get into software engineering. The faculty student ratio is a bit poor as each faculty has almost 80 students in the class. Qualifications and teaching methods are great for most of the teachers. Term exams are always on time if you study you score good.
Internships Opportunities
For the interships you need to have a good record in college and a cgpa of more than 8 would be good... Then you have to have something different from others like projects or something which most of the lack in. There are several companies offering internship in the college...
Placement Experience
From 5th sem students are eligible for campus placements Highest package offered was near to 1 crores or above and average package was 8.6 lpa The percentage of student getting placements is about 60% I plan to do MBA after the completion of this degree
Fees and Financial Aid
No fees hike so far... Board toppers get fee waiver during admission After that semester toppers get a fee waiver On the campus faculties help you get an intership which is unpaid for the first month but then you start being paid.
Campus Life
The annual fest named KIIT FEST is held every year in Feb-March It is great as there are many events going on all around the campus. Also there are several events going around the campus at all times by different clubs for different important days of the year. There is a society for everything in Kiit. Photography, cinematography, fashion, social services, entrepreneurship, drama, coding, singing, dancing, etc etc . You just name it.
Hostel Facilities
Its a good room there are many types of room available i chose 3 bed with ac. Its a great room cupboard size could be better... Meal quality is good and menu is decided by a student community in hostel. Registration process is very seamless and fees is around 1.5lpa
Admission
The admission process was a very simple process. Had to give an entrance exam (KIITEE) for which I registered on kiit's official website. Then the eligibility criteria was having 60% in boards with maths, physics and chemistry combined. After the KIITEE results came out we had to make a payment of 75k to book the allocated seats. This 75k included a laptop worth around 80-90k which is pretty good. The admission is good, I don't think it needs improvement.
