Course Curriculum Overview
I choose the course because I was influenced by my brother that this is a very good course with rural touch. There were 57 students in the batch and faculties were quite good. There were 6 examination in 2 years which were moderate to difficult.
Internships Opportunities
Internships did not provide much stipend but they provided very good handson experience which helped the students in final placement. The companies like Ascent brand communication, Baif, Anmol feeds, Axis came to the campus.
Placement Experience
Placement starts from 5th term that is from mid of 2nd year MBA. Companies like Axis, Dharma, RBL, Ujjivan, Arise, BAIF, Microfin,Prestige, etc. visited the campus and the students achieved 100% placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total tuition fee for XIM University, MBA in Rural Management is INR 13 Lakhs. Apart from the tuition fee, there is a one time admission fees of - INR 2,00,000 and a hostel fee of amount INR 1.2 Lakhs that students are required to pay in addition to the tuition fee.
Campus Life
The Annual Cultural Fest of XIM University, XAMBOREE 3.0 was organized set to take off on the 18-19th February 2023. This time the Singers Yo Yo Honey Singh, King Rocco, Lost Stories and Samay Raina came to the campus. The fest has seen participation from over 100 B-Schools and 80 undergraduatuon colleges. Annual sport meets and inter school competitions are being held regularly.
Hostel Facilities
Rooms were non air conditioned but were clean and spacious. Meals was based on catering system where we paid 3000 per month for 15 days of meal.Rest we had to order from Ala Carte. Food were not so good but not bad too-Managable.
Admission
The admission process was based on entrance exam scores like CAT, XAT, NMAT and XGMT which was an entrance from the university side.The students who couldnot clear cutoff in Cat, xat or nmat will be given chance to appear xgmt.Based on that merit list will be announced in 1st round, 2nd round and final round.
Interview Experience
Based on the score in XAT/ CAT / GMAT/ X-GMT, candidates are shortlisted for the Personal Interview round. The topics are based on latest debates and basic knowledge on finance, economics, etc.Yes, I prepared for the rounds.
