What Students Say

Likes

The greenery campus which works as a therapy during academic pressure.
Our facilities like hospital, fire team, security team...All departments are very active and always ready for students.
I have got a beautiful group of 7 friends

Dislikes

I think the fee structure is bit high but still managable
I don't think that there is something which I don't like
Hostel in time is the very disgusting rule

Course Curriculum Overview

Here all the faculty members are very supportive, much talented and they use to take care of students beyonds academics too.A group of 40 students will be alloted to 1 faculty (mentor).Mostly all the faculties are P.Hd holders.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Students are getting opportunities in 3rd year itself.A company namely Highradius is hiring interns around 1k every year. And almost half of the students are getting ppos. Our university is providing best of the internship opportunities.

Placement Experience

4.5

Here no one will return without a job in hand. Most of the students get on campus internship in 3rd year.By 4th year almost everyone in having 1 job and some students also carry 2-3 offers.Average package of last year is 8.2lacs.

Fees and Financial Aid

Talking about fees and ROI,it might not be possible for everyone to afford.Because total 4 years fees will be around 20-22lacs and you are getting a avg package of 8lacs.But most of the students having no backlog papers get a package of 15-20lacs.

Campus Life

Our college is conducting several fests in a year but the most important fest is KIITFEST which is beijg conducted in the month of february every year. And our central library is not less than a corporate office.I'll suggest to visit official website of KIIT and and have a glimpse of central library.

Hostel Facilities

KIIT university provides the best hostel life. But cons are always there. In 1st year students have to return back hostel by 6:30pm!!classes are continuing till 6pm.And about mess food and all, sometimes it's just ok ok and sometimes very good.

Hostel Fee: INR 111000 per year

Admission

You have to appear for KIITEE entrance exam and according to you rank you will be alloted a branch.Other way to take admission is your JEE rank.No exams are accepted. To get CSE branch you need to have rank below 3000 in KIITEE exam.

Decent faculty and top tier placements, just follow the rules

Likes

I like the vibe of the canteen and greenery around my college

Dislikes

I don't like 75% attendance and the strictness of the faculty members

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

Likes

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

The admission process for KIIT University is simple. You have to register and give the KIITEE exam and based on your exam percentile and your 12th percentage you get selected. REVIEW OF KIIT FROM A SECOND YEAR STUDENT

Apart from KIIT I also applied for PES university, VIT. I got confirmed admission in CSE branch of these colleges but these colleges are far away from my home. So distance is one of the main factors for not choosing other colleges instead of KIIT. For taking admission in KIIT one has to appear in the KIITEE examination which is conducted in CBT mode. After the exam result will be declared within a month. Then one has to sit for counselling for choosing the branch of their choice. The cutoff score is different for all the three phases. For example in 2023, a student securing 15 percentile in KIITEE got CSE core branch but in the second phase the cutoff for CSE core raised to 75 percentile....Read More
