Entrance Preview

I took SRM Joint Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE). I opted for Automobile Engineering because i am good at it and also by seeing the 2014-15 placements of the college. The 2014-15 batch placements were really nice. I was chosen to be a part of car making.

Course Curriculum Overview

Decent infrastructure but great placements(placements in chennai campus). The course are nice. All course required for engineering. The infrastructure is little bit not good but i am sure it will be modified in certain years.

Internships Opportunities

This is my 1st year so no idea of it. But I will definitely ask someone who has got internship through the college to fill the form. And also for the general stipend offered. I will also provide the email id of the boy who is doing doing internship.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placements are at very good places such as TCS, Wipro , M&M, RENAULT NISSAN, MU SIGMA , ACCENTURE, L & T INFOTECH, RICO AUTO (OFF CAMPUS) . Packages starting from 5 to 6 lack per year if students do well. An average of 2 to 4 lack for every students.

College Events

Events such as freshers party for the 1st students and graduation party, annual functions and 2 to 3 small functions to honor some good students such as giving scholarships etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

Currently i have no idea of loan facilities but they do provide scholarships. I will surely ask someone who knows about it to fill the form and i will provide his email id in the last.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus life is very nice. No raging at all . All girls and boys are very friendly. No race or religions problem except some of the defaulters in the campus always making fun of some religion but they are neglected. Recently some strict actions have been taken to make sure that they not make fun again. They are suspended for 15 days.

Exam Structure

Exams are conducted every month and the labs are very chilling and sometime on rare cases they hectic full of work. Till now i have only seen one time as i am a 1st year student.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

The education system of our college is up to date and follows the latest curriculum. The curriculum is well-designed to meet the needs of the students and the industry . Lab facilities are sufficient and offer hands-on experience, but can be modernized. Library and online resources such as electronic materials can be useful for independent study....Read More

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

I applied for the JEE Mains exam but I had no preparation for it, I did no coaching for any engineering entrance exam, which lead to great anxiety during the JEE exam, this lead to me not achieving a great score in the exam. I was accepted into Christ University and Vellore Institute of Technology but the NIRF rank of SRM compelled me to join here. This campus being close to my hometown was the perfect choice for me. The admission process is really straightforward and I do not need to even describe it here it is soooooo simple....Read More
