In my college, Odisha University of technology and research, internship opportunities are available and are guided by our seniors. Many companies like TCS, etc. with guaranted stipend as heard from seniors.

3.5

Campus placements are nice as heard from seniors. Last year, in CSE branch, the highest package was 44 lpa and average was around 6 lpa. Besides in EIE branch, highest was 39 lpa and average was around 5 lpa.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure in my college is quite low as I received a reservation benefit which is TFW ( Tuition fee waiver ). My hostel fee for 6 months is 5000 and mess is 15000. Campus placements are also nice as listened from my seniors.

Campus Life

Campus Life is quite not good. My first year hostel is around 1 km far from college. Also intime of my hostel is by 7 pm which is too early. My college only have one badminton court which I feel so bad about as I love playing badminton.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility are quite good. My hostel provide breakfast, lunch and dinner at proper times. But the negative part is that the intime of my hostel is 7 pm which is quite early. Rest, my room is also not that furnished.

Hostel Fee: INR 5630 per year

Admission

I gave JEE mains, both 1st and 2nd attempt in 2023. Also gave JEE advanced that year but couldn't get qualified for that. I got 93.5%ile in jee mains first attempt . I attended josaa counselling but due to my wrong choice filling, I got no result in each round. Then I attended a state counselling that is OJEE counseling in which I got ECE branch in Odisha University of technology and research which was formly called as CET.

Decent faculty and top tier placements, just follow the rules

Likes

I like the vibe of the canteen and greenery around my college

Dislikes

I don't like 75% attendance and the strictness of the faculty members

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

Likes

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.
