Remarks

To conclude I can say my college is good with good and ample opportunities .College management is good and helpful. They can provide you necessary official information in case you need it.As I have explained all other things above so I will only say that it is a good college and after all it is Delhi University.

Entrance Preview

Admission varies from course to course. Admission in my course is through merit list. Delhi University (DU) releases 6-8 cutoffs (which vary every year)through which admission in particular course took place. For more information related to college, course, faculty etc.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course structure is good and helps to acquire you knowledge. The course is well structured and informative too. It is divided into semester mode so it is easy to learn and acquire well. You can check out all the course structures at du.ac.in for further information. It provides you with each and every course structure with detailed information.

College Events

4

Delhi University is actually full of events. We have too many events like Cultural fest, NSS fest, NCC fest etc and fest of every society like Economics, Maths, Computer science etc. These fests are conducted in the month of February and March but you will also find fests and seminars held throughout the year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Yes, the fee structure is feasible. The fee varies according to course and college but it is quite affordable. It roughly ranges from 8000-14000 per year which is quite low as compared to other colleges.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, the college provides a scholarship for poor economic background students. It also provides some fee exemption facility which acts as a help for students.

Campus Life

4

Campus life at our college is good. There are a good gender ratio and diversity on the campus. There are ample extracurricular activities like debates, writing contest and many more. Also, there are number of sports like cricket ,foot ball ,volleyball etc .

Hostel Facilities

4.5

My college does not provide hostel but many colleges provide you hostel facilities but it is limited in number. These are high quality and provide good food at affordable rates. Although the hostels are not available in all the colleges you can find PG and flats almost near all the colleges so it is not a problem at all in terms of accommodation.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is not large but quite decent.Senior students are good and quite helping in nature. They can provide you notes, books and any other information which might be helpful to you. They also help you to enroll with various societies or information related to it.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is fine. They are actually of good level.Exams are conducted here at semester mode type and not on annual mode.My subjects don't require lab but my friend told that lab are actually chilled out as it belongs to computer science department. They are subjective in nature ao require in depth knowledge.

Admission

I got admission in this institute by clearing their cutoff.First, you have to register at their site by filling the required details in the registration form. Then, by clearing cutoff you have to visit the desired college and then buy the admission form and fill it up. Then there will be document verification process and some formalities like for library,id and other things and after completing this process you have to pay fees online and then it's done.

Faculty

4

The faculty is good at my college. There are few professors who have authored some books also.As we all know faculty includes good as well as bad so it is actually a mix of both at my college also

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are mainly for commerce stream departments but the humanities stream also are offered internship from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and Home ministry. There are many private companies that come to offer placements. The students from 3rd year in particular apply for internships. The highest package iffered is 500000 and the average is 250000. About 45% students get placements. My plan after getting the degree is to go for higher studies.

I wanted to do PhD in Political Science but due to percentage I took up BA program. Teachers used to provide notes but mostly I used to be off. There was nothing wrong with the college. Exam timings were good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Being brutally honest I don't think that the course contributes a lot to our preparation for the real world but it teaches us very new things which I like. The course might not be very helpful in our real life preparation or the preparation for the real world but at the same time it enhances our knowledge and teachers as about various new things so I am satisfied with my course and whatever the curriculum includes I like it

In term of relevance I'll say that there are many topics which should not be taught as they are way too old and contradicting in modern times. New tumes problems and solutions should be taught in replace focusing on present.

Placement Experience:

Final year students are generally placed with an average package of 7-8 lakhs for management programs. Companies including the big 4 like EY, KPMG, Deloitte and other reputed companies have visited and many offers have been made. Around 60% of the students get placed in management branch. After getting the degree, I am also planning to appear in the placement opportunities.
