Placements are quite impressive for every branch.
Beach is one of the most attractive part of the college.
Both the fests of the college are great.

Dislikes

The hostel timings for the first year students may be a obstacle for enjoyment

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is comprehensive and related to the application of things in day to day life. Practical based work influenced my decision to choose this course. Exams are oftenly happening in the semester. Exams are conducted in every single month. The difficulty level of the exams is moderate.

Internships Opportunities

The internships offered in the college are good. Students start getting the internship offers 5th semester onwards. Companies like JIO, NVIDIA, BAJAJ etc offers great internship opportunities to the students. Each and every company has its different qualifying criteria .

Placement Experience

The placement of the college are quiite impressive. Students are eligible from the 5th semester for the employment. You will get internship offers in the 5th semester. More than 150 companies come for the placement including JIO, GOOGLE, MERCEDES BENZ, AMAZON etc. In year 2022, JIO offered placements to 120 students from the college. Nearly 90-95? students get placed. I'll try to get a government job after the degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure of the college is quite low for the reservation students. High scholarships are also provided by many big companies. Even the bank also provide the financial assistance to the students. Companies like JIO, RELIANCE provide scholarship upto 2 lakh rupees. Campus employment is also there in terms of internship.

Campus Life

The campus life is great. There are 2 fests ;- 1 is technical fest named ENGINEER and another is cultural fest named INCIDENT. cultural fest take place in March and technical fest is in October. The classrooms are equipped with modern technologies like projectors and wifi connection. Every type of sport is there in the college from swimming to snooker. Many variety of clubs are also present in the college itself.

Hostel Facilities

There are 2 types of the hostels provided to the students. Some are new and some are old. The facilities provided in the new hostels are great whereas the facilities in the old hostels are also good but not so as new hostels. The meal quality is good and various food items are served. The rent for the hostels is quite low and affordable.

Hostel Fee: INR 40000 per year

Admission

I cleared JEE examination. The application form of the JEE examination is available on the website of NTA. The application fees is 500 rupees for categories . Reservation is good for the students who are not able to score good marks due to any reason in JEE examination.

Review by first bencher who enjoyed life with back benchers

Likes

The Well maintained Infrastructure of around 20 acres
The support for non academic activities like sports and cultural
Supportive nature of few faculties for tech competitions both for participating as well as for organising

Dislikes

There is no much needed coordination among faculties
The student teacher bonds are not good for all faculties
Some over helmed rules regarding discipline and cleanliness

Placement Experience:

Well in case of placements it's not upto the mark because, As it's a Government college for companies there will be a zero promotion. One more thing is there is no separate funds to accommodate the officials came to the college for placements And the college is not working with 100% efficiency towards placements of students

The college provides a supportive learning environment with helpful faculty and good infrastructure
Labs are well-equipped and the campus is clean

The maintenance of campus is good ,and the college events , and the teaching level is also excellent and the particular student have there own mentor they guide in each thing
The way they support us encourge us for our success and support in every situation and also support to the students in placment or training opportunities
If we lack or we are in problem they will support to come out if that with good solution

Dislikes

the college is not too strict for that reason the students may spoil easily
the ratio of our college is like 60:40 that is the majority are boys , and the college fan are slow which cause problem in summer
the college washrrom are not clean that cause problem,lack if industry

Placement Experience:

At the 6 th semester the students are eligible for placements and compaines visited our college are cloud fabric , crafty sogo , congnizent and some training like v tech , qspriders , pentagon space,alpheoleo , medini and some more the highest package is 5 lakh and the lowest is 3 lakh . around 10 to 15 students have been placed from cse dept after the degree i have one good salary job so to settle my life

Likes

I like the fact that our faculties are pretty good
Campus is very green and classes are provided with smart boards
Students are competitive and hardworking more focus on studies

Dislikes

Infrastructure is very decent not so wow

Placement Experience:

So from 5 th semester you are eligible to apply for an internship and after 6 th sem or ending you can sit for the full time roles , so as of now highest package is 28 lpa and lowest may be 5 lpa almost 95 percentage of students get placed . I "ll be doing job after my college

Things I liked it’s a friendly people and seniors are also good here they help to study very well
Another thing I liked that no uniform is there and the college timing is also good
All sir and mam are friendly and exam type is good

They not focusing on the sports activities
The college campus is very small it’s just of 8 acres
The ratio of boys girls is 2:1 in the college

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is great like and avg package is 100000 and it's in campus from 2st semester only the students become eligible for campus placement. Flipkart,TCL and aml many more companies came the highest package in 2023 got of 52 lakh in AIMl and the avg package is 10 lakh. The percentage of the students getting placements is 60-70% my plans after getting the degree to do master in abroad

It's a good environment in the college and spacious classrooms
There is no sort of ragging all the seniors are super friendly
Good teaching staff they help in all fields

Dislikes

No proper management for the events and attendance for the students taking part

Campus selections are available companies like TCS,wipro and many more come to our college do the campus selection the highest package was 1,25,000 and the lowest was 55,000 almost more than half of the students get placed during the campus selections and the rest by the end of the course get a job

One of the best colleges or universities for B Tech and pocket friendly

Likes

The campus is very good , it is peaceful , it has the best environment for a student to pursue his studies
The faculties are highly qualified , most of the faculties (lecturers) are PHD holders. They've got plenty of experience to share their knowledge with the students
We've got plenty of opportunities to improve our skills , lecturers gives us more space to solve our doubts.

Dislikes

For a B-tech college it is new , we are still expecting the campus placements
The campus is a bit underrated for a B-tech college

Placement Experience:

The College was there for more than 10 years , but there was only Post graduate courses available , like M-tech , Msc , etc. The College for B-tech has started just before 2 years , there are no batches which has been output till now. The students are also waiting to see the batches to get output and see the placements taking place. As a student I am also eager about the campus placements.

What i most lile about this collage is its infrastructure styl
It has a very good environment lile very green
It even has a ganapati temple in the campus

Dislikes

Water quality is hostel is not good like not filterd properly
Hot water supply is only in morning not at all time
And i dont personally hate anything on the campus

Placement Experience:

The placement in the college are very good actually like more then 300 companies have visited the college and more then 950 jobs have been offered to the students companies like infosys, tcs, wallmart, global tech india, accenture, visa, dell technology, intel etc and mass recruter are companies lile infosys and tcs which gove 50+ and 60+ offers respectively. And last year there where 8 students who got 64 lpa and in which four(4) students where from information science and engineering that is our department. Our department is very good and if you take information science you can get a very good job

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester we will become eligible for campus placements. Very few companies will visit for chemical engineering those are aslo not core. Highest package offered for a chemical engineering is 600000 I guess this aslo a long back. But dont take a hope on placements here in chemical weapons. Do mainly focus on Gate exam. Get good score go for mtech or apply for good core jobs for interview.

This college is one of the top engineering college in india ,even top than many IITs etc. ,this college is at very decent nirf anking,naturally location is also very beautiful, the branch i wantes to take has nice average placement in this college, this college have its private beach. Other collleges are also good i filled my preference choices according to my rank i got this college . this college was at my second choice place and i got this in my last councelling round . I am so grateful to destiny and my hardwork ,support of parents and teachers. On my first preference order NIT Trichy was there as my branch has good past academics and placements. I got NITRourkela tilll 5th round of josaa . And in final round I got NITK and I locked it as i only wanted to take it. I got rejected by NITT becouse of may be my rank . as others were deserving that more than me. Admission in college is the last step to get into the college.these engineering colleges are taking admissions through the exam named JEE Mains and Advanced.The eligibility for this exam is the student who is studying in class 12th or till 2 yrs dropper can give exam with subjects taken PCM or PCMB in +1 /+2.they have to clear the CBT based exam and than cutoffs comes and colleges are taking students by councelling process. The JEE Mains exam is for 3 hours and Advanced is for 6 hours with parts of two 3-3 hours in paper-1 and 2 .Cutoffs for general in mains for year 2025 was 93 percentile ....Read More

A mini heaven on earth called NITK

After GATE exam, I applied to almost all top NITs like NIT Trichy, NIT Surathkal, NIT Warangal, NIT Calicut etc during CCMT counselling . I had also applied in IIT Dhanbad in COAP counselling. I got IIT Dhanbad in 8th round. I spoke to my coaching Sir, he had advised me to go for top 3 NITs rather than IIT Dhanbad. Since these three NITs are well established and offer better placement opportunities as compared to IIT Dhanbad which is relatively a new IIT. One needs to qualify GATE exam to get a shot at taking admission in IITs/NITs. Once you qualify the GATE exam you can then look at specific colleges cutoff for admission. I got NIT Surathkal in special round 1 which was held after 3 regular rounds. I preferred NIT Surathkal as compared to other NITs since its considered in top 3 NITs and also it's near my home as compared to NIT Trichy....Read More

Great campus life with good placement and private beach, a place like heaven for engineering

After the cutfoffs are released by CSAB i got a seat in NITK, Information Technology. I prefered this college because of the campus (private beach), placements statuts, and seniors recommondation. nitk- a college you can go for

This was the best college i could get with my jee rank. so i chose it, i was also interested in electronics. also location of college was convenient for me for travel to home. to get National Institute of Technology Karnataka u need a really good score in JEE (easier said than done), reservation also play a role whether u get your prefred college. there is also luck involved in the paper that u got for your mains. with a rank below 10k you can get this college. higher the rank better the branch you can apply for. I had applied to other iits, but the courses I wanted weren't as good as the one I was getting in nitk, so though it was a tough call, i finnally opted for the cse branch over here. Our college takes in candidates from the jee mains examination, which is done through josaa councelling. Cutoffs starts somewhere around 50k for the lowest branch and could go as higher as 2000 for branches like cse through general quota.
