A new experience

Overall the college is good & it is one of the emerging b school in tamilnadu the atmosphere over there was very good and it will be a very nice place to study and play.

TANCET It is an admission through counselling and my college is ranked in top 5 among that so if you get if your counselling session before 2nd day afternoon you will surely be placed in the kct campus.

Actually, the curriculum was reframed for our batch with a lot & lots of new involvement in the course. Before our batch, it was dual specialization but from our batch, it will be single specialization with the option to choose a subject, not as a minor. A research course in 1st itself leads to lots of exposure and learning in it. Term 1 will be for a month and followed by term to leads to the end of the semester then the term 3 then the 1 st year completed then we have to go through a 2 months internship.

Yes, of course, they provide internship usually the companies visit our campus with giving some kind of stipend in case of specialization like marketing & finance generally the companies provide stipend up to an average of 5k but in case of other specialization, they will not specify the amount. The companies visit the campus will be well known one so gaining experience will be more.

Placements are good in our campus in last year about 75% were placed with an average of 3.75 L p.a. Amazon - 12.5L Coca cola - 4.25L ITC - 3.75L ( Training period) City Union bank - 3.5L Decathlon- 4.25L Wildcraft- 4.5L ICICI securities- 2.25L & More companies like this are visiting our campus regularly.

There is a student association for the sake of students and they will conduct various activities & events and one of the popular events is "angadi" which is an event where students were asked to sell the products on their own with this own risk involved in it. Then some regular celebration will be held like Onam Diwali Pongal etc.

The fee structure in our campus is feasible as it is 3L for the whole MBA excluding hostel fees and a 15K will be collected for the book fees which can be used while buying stationery or other needed things in their store named K Mart & book Depot. Library fees will also be collected but the whole fees will not be more than 3.25L.

The seniors mostly help us to develop our skills at the start of the curriculum they use to take the class to have a friendly atmosphere between them & us and not to have a fear factor which every student used to have in the starting period of the college. Alumni help us to get placed in the internship as they are very helpful in this case. To contact them a separate database as been kept by staff members so that the interaction will be easy.

Mostly question papers will be based on the topics which the staff discussed in the classrooms and not on the outer of the book. The examples which the staff delivers will be asked frequently and the questions will be practical not theoretical so that the knowledge of the students will be well assessed & determined.

My Tancet score was 48.667 and I got my counselling session on 2nd day at 10am with 8 seats to fill up with lot of confusions in the mind but with sake of better placements & infrastructure I choose the kctbs with lot of hopes in it and it is almost fulfilling that. After that counselling session just a application procedure in the campus.

Staff with well knowledge & skills in particular subjects are allowed to take the subject most of the staffs have 10 years of experience in the field and they have lot knowledge but some lack in expressing to students which may become difficult to understand.
