Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I have chosen electronics and communication branch here. This branch is said to have an evergreen scope of need so it inspired me to join under this branch. Our curriculum is good and makes us capable of studying all the basic to advanced stuff about electronics and their various processes. Teaching methods are good butb can be improved by introducing more practical experience here at campus much earlier which will help us to get a lot of experience beforehand sitting in placement drive. Exams take place every month or so and the level of academic exams is also very high.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

As mentioned befoire, various companies come here throughout the course and many opportunities throughout the course are given to a student and sometimes stipend is also available. Many projects need to be done to make a good resume and help in increasing our chances to achieve a good job or internship.

Placement Experience

3

Btech studens in their 7th semester and Dual degree students in their 9th semester are eligible for sitting in placement drive. Various tech companies like amazon, flipkart, nvidia, google and other major companies come here every year for placements. Highest packages are around 5000000 - 6000000 rupees and avg packages are around 1200000 - 1500000 rupees. Nearly 60 - 70 percent students get placed every year and others who dont get placed try for offcampus placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure depends on the caategory and background from which we are. For a general student, around 150000 rupees per year is the fee. Whereas for other categories, this amount does not exceed more than 50000 to 60000 rupees considering we take two semesters a year. So the complete fee for whole course does not exceed more than 800000 rupees. The financial aid is given based on category and background and various other factors like family income and stuff.

Campus Life

4

Campus life is really great and interesting. The campus is great in terms of region and location. Facilities like eatables and other stuff are also available. Various tech fests and events take place throughout the whole year and all the clubs take part in them. The library is really great and has a lot of books. One can spend a whole 5 years and books will still be more than enough. There are various tech classrooms and almost all of the classes have projectors. There are sports facilities available. A student activity center and a sports ground are also available. Various branch-based clubs and societies are available and are active throughout the year. Campus life all in all is great.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostels are good. There are 4 seater, 3 seater, 2 seater or even one seater rooms available here. But most of them are 3 seater accomodations. There are washrooms and water coolers on all the floors of a hostel. Washrooms and corridors of hostels are cleaned almost omn daily basis. Food in hostel is not bad but can be improved. Variety in food is not much butb manageable. Hostel regestration process takes place at the time of admission and rooms are alloted based on our scores.

Admission

First i took the jee main exam and qualified that. Jee main exam was not much difficult. If your basics are clear, you can easily clear the exam. We were given two attempts and timings for both the exams were 3 hours. Once we clear the exam, we get our result after a month. The result is basis for our evaluation which describes which college we will get. We need to fill out the details of colleges we are interested in and based on result and availability of seat, we get a colledge. The admission process was just about a day long. We needed to download and print some of the documents which were available on our institute site. After that, we filled some forms and paid fees receipts. And after that , our admission process gets completed.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at my college are average. A few reputed companies visit the campus each year, but the number of offers and salary packages varies depending on the branch and market conditions. Students who have strong academic performance, technical skills, internships, and good communication skills generally have better chances of getting placed.
