Campus life is good moreover campus life becomes good when u have good friends
Infrastructure can be made better but it's good not
Lecture hall is pretty much good faculty is also good

Dislikes

I obviously dislike the way of teachers how they teach their subjects
No bus is arranged from our college to market

Course Curriculum Overview

In specific aspects I will include placement terms of this institution and my interest in lectronics branch like the curriculum is medium yes I will suggest the areas of methods further to improve is the digitalization of content of studies exams are easy to medium and happens two time in a semester

Many iits come for internships here you can go to an other iit for internships in this college students from 2nd year can go to internships in 3rd year it is necessary to go for internships moreover due to more connections we get more internship opportunities

Placement Experience

From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements name of the companies are hcl the avg package is 6.5 lpa highest is 15 lpa I don't know exact but 60 percent peoples get placed my plans after degree is gate examination and placement too

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is 1lac now at my time of admission it was 75k and yes there is availability of scholarships and financial assistance and if you belong to any caste not general you can get fees waivers too and yes the campus employment trend is medium to good here

Campus Life

Overall experience is good in campus life and focusing on social aspect students arrange many fests themselves club involvment is also good and the infrastructure provided is also decent overall the campus life for me it's not so good not so bad

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is good in my recent time hostel in 1 St year it wasn't so good the meal quality is very much bad specially at night registration process for hostel is easy and affordable nit's lecture hall is approx 1km far from nit gate

Hostel Fee: INR 50000 per year

Admission

You have to get eligible through jee main exam you have to get good percentile you can find the application form feed dates on jee main official website and yes you also get reservation benefits based on your gender and also on your caste certificate

Lack of auditoriium so most of gathering will be in open air theatre

The campus really respects diversity. Students from different states and countries study together and that inclusion makes a big difference
The infrastructure and fab faculties are unmatched, for people dedicated to carrying out research, they have almost everything atvtheir disposal
Extra curricular activities make sure one is involved in multiple volunteery things rather than just academics

Dislikes

Relevant placement opportunities with good packages can be improved
The fee for courses could be regularised
Mode of exam conduction should be completely offline to ensure transparency

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in last semester. They can choose to sit in placements and select if they would like to join the company theyve been selected for. Eligible candidates do end up getting great packages

Campus is very good and nice view from college

Very less internship and placement option
Very slow wifi speen and only 1 gb per day

Course Curriculum Overview:

Updated to align with NEP-2020 guidelines starting from 2023 onward. CSE (AI & DS) branch includes modern subjects like Data Science, Machine Learning, Python, Cloud basics. Core branches (ECE, ME, EE, CE) follow standard Indian engineering frameworks with essential subjects. Syllabus similar to other govt engineering colleges under HP Tech University, so fairly up to date.

the fee structure are affordable for any one and hostel are also very cheap
they also help student to build cinfidence as many event are there so a person can loose his stage fear
the support of teacher for students is very good

Dislikes

i would say that the computer labs are not in very good conditions
the computer are not even advantageouos for aiml student
the infrastructre is not that good even no wifi facility

Placement Experience:

so as the first batch of cse ai ml is going to passout this year so there is no record of placement but hoping that their placement would be good as per teacher's expectations and also they provide intership in iit mandi

The faculty and staff are well qualified appx. all are phd .
The junior senior interaction is good .
There is good coding culture and all senior all helpful .

Dislikes

Area of college is 15 km from una city .
The curriculum us hectic in each semester it has atleast 6 subject.

My college offer above good placement . About 85-90% of the eligible student get placed with median package of 9 lakh and average of 11 lakh . Our placement incharge is Nistha Hooda. Highest placement is of 60 lakh and minimum is 4 lakh

Likes

Hostel fees is quite less despite providing many facilities.
Mess food is tasty and campus is small but clean and beautiful.
Curriculum is up-to-date. Teachers are helpful and friendly.

Dislikes

There are many unnecessary restrictions in hostel.
Sometimes you have too wait too long for food in mess.
Less events are organized and sports infrastructure is not too good.

Placement Experience:

Placements are average , it totally depends on the students skills and their cgpa. From 5th sem students become eligible for campus placements. TCS, Infosys, Redhat vistited the campus and made more than 200 offers. 171+ companies visited. Highest package is 1.11cr, average is 6lpa. 70% students gets placed. Planning to go in tech related jobs in industries after getting the degree.

I like the campus, there is greenery all over the campus.
Sports and cultural clubs and the festivals
very good wifi facility in the campus. And good gender ratio in institute

Dislikes

Climate is hot during summer. But winters are appreciable
Mess food is not good that much.. but we can eat.
Sometimes in hostel there is non availability of water . In bathrooms

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it has more scope in India as India is a developing country. It also has government jobs more than other fields. We can shift to it sector this is the flexibility of this course.

Everything about my college

When I was applying for engineering, I had filled applications for a few other NITs and state engineering colleges, but finally I chose NIT Hamirpur because of its good academic reputation, supportive campus environment, and better placement opportunities compared to the others. Some colleges I applied to had very high cutoffs and I couldn’t make it there because my JEE Main score was slightly lower than required, but NIT Hamirpur’s cutoff matched my rank, so I got admission here. The admission process was through JEE Main followed by JoSAA counseling, which is the most common and preferred route for B.Tech aspirants. The eligibility was 12th pass with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and the cutoff for civil engineering here was comparatively achievable for me. The overall admission process was transparent and smooth, from registering for counseling to final seat allotment.
