There is nothing in particular about dislikes but lift operators are very rude

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is well designed as per the course which tests you on different aspects and teacher uses both digital smartboards for teaching and exams are conducted every 6 months out of which 25 marks are for your internals and rest 75 marks your main exams.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Internships Opportunities

For internship morgan stanley which is an investment bank came for summer internship and was providing a stipend of 33,000 per month its was for operations department later they also came for legal and complaince role

Placement Experience

Students become eligible in 3rd for campus placements company starts coming to campus just as your 3rd year starts average package is somewhat between 3.5 to 4 lpa. And approx 70 to 80% of students got the offer who register for placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for my course was on an around 50,000 ped year. And college provides various scholarships which you can check on college websites. And college offers interships as well Morgan Stanley came on campus for summer internship afterwards many students converted that into full time as well

Campus Life

There are many cultural events happening in a year . And mithibai college is mainly famous for its Kshitij Fest. And as i was from BBI so our department was having a Finanza Which was the fest of our department college also have NCC and NSS so anyone who is interested can join that too.

Admission

The eligibility criteria was very simple like other colleges you need to have ur 12th Standard cleared and the minimum cut off for general category on an average is above 90% so if you want to secure your seat than its good to have the same. As i was from army background so i availed that reservation which allowed me to get into at a low percentage of 82. And if your from gujrati minority then in that case the chances of getting into this college doubles or you say confirmed.

A perfect blend of learning and industry exposure.

Likes

The faculty is extremely experienced and provides valuable industry perspective.
The campus is modern and equipped with smart classrooms, media, labs, studios and an excellent library.
The placement cell is very helpful and active, getting students placed with firm.

Dislikes

The hostel is not good so providing variety in food.
sometimes coordination between department can be smoother.
The course is a bit on the expensive side when it comes to fees.

Best College with Loving Memories

Admission:

The admission process is easy in my college. Students do not have to appear for any Entrance examination. For Taking admission in B.M.S course, students should get minimum45% marks and reserved category students should get 40% marks in Xll Standard.

Mithibai has great placement opportunity as there are big companies that comes for campus placement like KPMG, DELOITTE, JP MORGAN and EY. So it can give great start to students in corporate world. This is one of the reasons I chose mithibai over other colleges. Also there are so many clubs that I can be a part of to form connections, gather ideas and build leadership skills. I also applied to NMIMS, DU and I got admission there. Reason for not choosing was simple that the opportunities for me were more at Mithibai than any other college and it was a great decision overall. Not a very pleasant experience.

The college had a good modern infrastructure but half of the classrooms were either unpainted or under renovation throughout the three years that I have spent in the college. Several areas were under construction which was a potential hazard to the students. I would rather prefer a heritage building like a south Bombay college than a modern half constructed college. The teachers were experienced but lacked the drive to teach efficiently. I did not find the staff extra ordinary. There was little to no connection between student and teacher. There was a lot of favoritism. Overall the college appeared mismanaged because they did not regularly update the college website and did not feel the need to email us the important updates such as exam dates, we had to run around the college campus to read the notice boards....Read More
