Remarks

Yes the college is just fine. Not the best college

Entrance Preview

Because the college was giving us the specialisation in the subjects and moreover they only teaches us what is required. And their placement also seems to be okay. They were using the latest technology. They were not just teaching but making us implement what they taught

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is good as i have seen in other colleges for 1st year they teaches the subject other than your choice subject.Bt here everything is well maintained. We learn what is necessary yes we have other subjects also but the main focus always remains in the subject we want to be specialised

Internships Opportunities

ASAP college provides us internship.but i don't know much about the criteria and overall experiences of the students

Placement Experience

2.5

Placements are nice. They have direct connection with companies like Xebia,IBM.Almost students gets placed who passes the eligbility criteria for placement. And I dont know much about the placement.but ya they are trying to connect with other companies also

College Events

Almost everyday there is an event.we have student chapters which conducts almost all type of events and other than that college celebrates almost all type of festivals.we have technology-related events then sports events then literary club have events related to literature

Fee Structure And Facilities

yes the fee structure is really expensive but we can say that some of the fee is worth feeling .i think our one year fee is 4,00,000.other than this fee for attending any workshop or event you need to pay for it.so if you want to come to this college then get your parents ready to loosen their wallet

Fees and Financial Aid

I think they give the scholarship according to the 12th marks they have there own criteria and about they loan they give the student loan

Campus Life

In the campus you can meet student from other religions and other countries as they have the student exchange program and the gender ratio is almost equal. The college has less sports opportunity for girls but for boys they have lot of opportunitiy in sports

Hostel Facilities

2.5

There are tons of hostel near the campus.I prefer if you are the lazy one then go for the campus hostel or the hostel near the campus.because the campus is really far from the main market and the other facilities.Hostel mess has different types of dishes for you but they are just ok

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

No i don't have any network to the alumni so i can't say anything. But Yes you can get the information about your course from the current senior they are really helpful

Exam Structure

Exam structure is nice almost exams happen online other then mid-semester and end-semester exam. And in between they conduct online exams other then unit tests.Student gets their grade online in the portal.in exams we get everything what we have taught.

Admission

I cleared the upeseat exam Went for the counselling choose my stream There u get the stream if seats are available Means you can only get the stream of your choice according to your rank in upeseat And they Also conduct different counselling for uttarakhand domicile

Faculty

3.5

The faculty is ok.some are really good and some are just ok.There are more than 10 faculties other than your own who is teaching you for a single subject. And we can get help from any of the faculty.Faculties are well qualified also. There they also organizes workshops and industry lectures for faculties

A Well-Rounded B.Tech Journey with Good Infrastructure, Supportive Faculty, and Growing Career Opportunities

Likes

Faculty members are generally qualified and approachable, and students can seek help with academics and projects.
students should supplement the university curriculum with industry certifications, coding practice, internships, GitHub projects and real-world development work.
There are cultural events, technical activities, clubs, sports and other extracurricular activities. Hostel students can participate fairly actively in campus events.

Dislikes

The main improvement I'd look for would be more advanced, industry-standard laboratory equipment and greater practical exposure.
I couldn't find a reliable current official university figure for the overall girls-to-boys ratio.
The ratio can also differ substantially between CSE, other engineering branches and the university as a whole.

Placement Experience:

Haridwar University provides regular campus-placement opportunities across IT, core engineering and other sectors. The university reports strong overall placement activity, but programme-wise salary and placement data are limited publicly, so students should ask for CSE-specific statistics before admission.

I like the college curriculum and study materials and teaching style of the teachers . Some teachers are impressive and their teaching style is too good .
Campus life is not much engaging but we usually spent our time in studying only . Also for attendance there is not much more criteria but some teachers are very strict in taking the attendance.
Faculties are full of experience and knowledge. They are approachable online and offline too but after the class.

Dislikes

I don't like the placement system in my college because the students studying in 2nd year do not get any exposure of placement . There is placement cell in our college but not very active .
Infrastructure is good but it should be spread in a more big acres . My wish was to get into IIT Kharagpur that's why I am asking for big campus .
Overall curriculum and research based approach of the campus is good. They just give projects to the seniors and seniors work is to dictate us about the project and helps us in building different types of project.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main aspects that motivates me to choose this college is the GFTI'S colleges . Because my father suggest me that govt. Colleges seeks more companies that's why I choose this college . But truth is totally opposite from the reality. Real world application based projects is just given by the teachers in every semester but we students copy it and give it to them from the gpt. College timing should be more less we have to study from 10 am to 5 p.m. Timings of exams are of 3 hrs only in semester . Difficulty level is moderate.

Graduation- Best time of life.

Likes

The campus of the university is beyond beautiful and homely. Participation in college and university societies paves way for an all rounder development of the students. Facilities like CCF internet facility) is quite commendable.
Good Placements offered also encourage better future prospects. The library of the university is next level. Kisan mela held two times a year feels like another celebration for the university people.
Events held in the university with amazing artists offer exposure as well as a unique way to keep the entertainment alive amongst the youth.e

Dislikes

The hostel rules were rigid especially the entry timings of the girls hostel. The rigidity to take leave by getting it signed by various officials first had been an issue. Although, this was when i was graduating, things might have changed by now.
The stringent hostel rules were quite difficult to cope with. The strict checking at the university gates though might seem good as per the security but seem harsh sometimes.
Teaching methods could be made more progressive and technical with time paving way for more practical knowledge. Infrastructure could also be given a push.

Placement Experience:

In final year of btech companies start coming. Maximum students of CSE and IT get placed. Package is min. 3.2Lacs CTC. Both mass recruiters and startups take part in the placement drive. A good number of students get placed. But maximum students of our college opt for higher studies like appearing for GATE, GRE, CAT exams. Further students indulge in preparation for govt services like UPSC, Defence.
