Likes

There are Many Socities which help to acquire many skills.
Campus Life is Very Excellent as the Campus Area is around 40 acres and Cultural and Tech Fest are arganized
Faculty are Excellent as All Faculty Are NET Qualified, PHD Holders and NIT passout.

Dislikes

Campus is situated at the Outskirts of West Bengal
Discipline is not well maintained and Punctuality in the Class as Many Students not attends the Class.
No such places to explore in the Locality.

Course Curriculum Overview

The Curriculum is very relevant to Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology...and it is affiliated to MAKAUT West Bengal...IT relates with the Real world Examples... Improvement should be done in the Lectures Schedule as class is scheduled from morning to evening. Semester Exams occur in June and December and the level of Exams are moderate.

Placement Experience

From 5th Semester that is 3rd Year and 4th Year Students are eligible for Campus Placements. Many big Companies and MNCs visits our College like Amazon, TCS, Infosys,Wipro, Capgemini, Cognizant, PWC, Deloitte. Highest package offered this Year is 45 LPA and Average Package is 6.2 LPA . This Year 98-99 % students are placed and rest are opted for Higher Study. My plan after getting a degree is to get a High Package in big MNCs.

Fees and Financial Aid

Generally Tution fees hike is very low as fees are increases after every 3-4 years.Total fees for the Four Year is 650000 including Tution fees and Hostel fees and other Sports and Library Charges. West Bengal Scholarhip like SVCM and Neighbouring states Scholarship are easily available and one can get Education loan at very low interest Rates

Campus Life

There are Two Fests Rivera which is Cultural Fest and Prayukti which is Tech Fest and both occurs in the month of April - May. 1 Lakh+ books are available in our Aryabhatta Central Library and this Library is Largest Library in West Bengal. The classrooms are well maintained and every class has Smart Boards.Almost all types of Sports are held in our College and Inter- College Tournament also happens and Many Extra Curricular Activities are also held. We have Three NGOs of our College -Samarpan, Needs, and Eklavya which provide quality education and essential needs to locals and Children and Celebrates all types of Festivals with them. We have a large number of Socities in our College like IEEE, ISTE, CSI,ACM , IETE and Many cultural clubs .

Hostel Facilities

There are total 11 Hostels in our College .2 Boys Hostel are outside the Campus for 1st Year. And rest Hostels are inside the Campus. Rooms are well maintained as we got 1 bed 1 Table Chair , Pillow,Matress .Every Rooms has 2-4 Seaters. 24×7 Water and Electricity and Wifi Available. Mess is also in the Ground Floor of Every Hostel. Food are also very tasty in comparison with other messes. Cost of Hostel is 12000 for 1Semester So total cost for 8 Semester is around 96000. Hostel is alloted on the first Day of the College. Rented Rooms and PG are also Available in locality with Genuine Rates.

Hostel Fee: INR 100000 per year

Admission

Student who have 60% in boards are eligible for WBJEE exams. WBJEE form is available on their official website and application fees is 500 and last date to apply is 5th February 2024. Exam Time is - 2 hours for Physics and Chemistry and 2 hours for Maths and Difficulty level is Moderate....After that Counselling occurs and Students who scored good rank can avail colleges.

Supportive Faculty - The professors are highly qualified, approachable and always willing to help students
Free wifi support - There are free wifi support for both student and faculty
Fee Structure - It is very affordable and low compared to other colleges in the region

Dislikes

Placement support is below average, and most studnets have to apply for off campus jobs independently, which is really pathetic in the era of ai where getting a job as a fresher is so difficult
There is no dedicated support or placment cell initiative to help studnets land meaningful summer internships or any kind of internships

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements starting from the 7th semester. For placement drives, we have to visit the main campus, Techno Main Salt Lake (TMSL). Since students from other Techno India campuses and branches also participate, the competition is extremely high. In the 2025–2026 academic year, fewer companies visited. Only two companies, Dronahost and WishCare, visited our specific campus directly. The remaining drives—mostly service-based companies like TCS and EY, along with a few startups—were conducted at the main campus. The remaining drives mostly service based companies like TCS, EY etc and quite a few startups has visited to main campus. The package they offered mostly in between 3.5lpa - 6 lpa. Furthermore the selection process of those startups is quite rigorous often consisting of upto 5 rounds of interview, two technical rounds with two technical interviews, and HR round My plans after getting the degree is either pursue an MBA or preparing for govt jobs

The everyday journey

Likes

I liked the campus . Their people and faculties are too great , they are also helpfull
The other thing i liked here is the play ground where students play with full of their energy and many game events are organised ocationally
The other thing i liked is the library where everyone use to study silently with poking others

Dislikes

Bad benches , like benches are too small to be fitted in our class I
In our department ac doesn’t work properly

Nothing specific just the campus attracted me Curriculum is preparing me for the real world approach and its doing good enough the academic pursuits is good Teachers should teach in a good way so that every student should understand Frequently the timing of exam is 3 hrs but sometimes it takes 1 hrs

The faculty are well taught and the campus is very beautiful . The buildings are like newly bulid . and the campus is very clean.
In our branch the boys and girls ratio is almost 16:11.
The senior behave like a friend and they help us a lot and they also very supportive.

Dislikes

The college campus is too small compare to other colleges.
The college classes are not regularly held and the attendance system is not very good.
The classes are very boing and sometime it feels like aa school and the labs are not held timely.

Placement Experience:

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.

My experience about techno

Likes

Ragging free campus. Strict action are taken against those who found guilty.
Classrooms are well equipped and are spacious.
There are many fun events that happen in the college

Dislikes

The campus area is too small. The library is not good
The societies are fully controlled by students so huge partiality goes on.
Some of the teachers are mean and are not good.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards , students become eligible for internships and stepping in 4th yr , students get eligible for campus placement. Techno provides decent campus placements according to your marks. Good marks also with skills get you better salary. Minimum 7.5 cgpa is mandatory to have you sit for campus placements. The lowest package is 3.4 LPA and highest vary but students also get 14LPA easily. Wipro, tcs ,cap ,gemini, amazon , ibm etc.

Likes

The campus is big and full of greenery with the vibrant feel of nature.
The students of the same batch are friendly and helpful.
The teacher's are friendly and helpful. They do provide helpful recommendations for the betterment of your future.

Dislikes

The seniors are overly harsh when it comes to 1st year.
The infrastructure could be worked on. The college lacks renovation.
The hostel does require everyday cleaning and renovation as well as the campus.

Placement Experience:

I don't know much about this but I guess from the sixth semester the students are eligible for campus placements. This year a student from AEIE got a package of 11.2 lacs per annum and the average is around 4 lacs per annum.

Experienced Faculty-students often appreciate a good blend of practical and theoretical knowledge.Faculty members in some department are often known for thier excelence knowledge and experience
Excelent Campus-techno india university has a large campus with excelent facilities such as libraries,labs,seminar halls etc. Some students finds this facilitries useful
Funs and Events-techno india university provides a vibrant campus life with events that span a wide range of interests

Dislikes

Time Management-the one thing that I disliked was their time management.They dont provide a proper shedule for exams,routines etc
Teaching Methods-some students feels that cirtain teaching methods(like a focus on lecture without without interactive learning or industry exposure) must be improved
Placement-techno india university does prepares thier students for placement they only give them the opportunity

Elegibility for placement-Generally students become elligible for campus placement in their 7th semester or 8th semester and there might be some prerequisties such as minimum CGPA must be 6-7 with no bachlogs Internship and pre-placement offers-many companies offer internships during the 6th semester or 7th semester and successful interns may receive pre-placement offers if their performance is good. Companies that visits campus: TCS Accenture Cognizent Infosys Wipro Capgemini Deloite Byjus Tech Mahindra Placement Percentage-On average 80%-90% of students may secure jobs through campus placements.However this numbers could vary across different departments and specialization Highest and average package-The highest salary offered at Techno India University was 24 LPA and the average salary was 4-5 LPA. Plans after getting the degree: My plans depends on placement.If I get a job of around 15 LPA then I will not do master degree and if I get job of around 4-5 LPA then I will do master for further great opportunities

Likes

The faculties are very good and very active. They are always ready to help
Campus is very beautiful and nice. Campus may be a little bit smaller but it is beautiful.
Environment is very good. And have a natural's beauty

Location is a thing which may difficult to find out.
Number of faculties are small quantity due to the college is newly established
Because of the college is new so therefore not huge like any NIT or IIT

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There many service based companies visited like TCS ,Cognizant, wipro, Infosys. Almost 60-70% student placed in on campus. Highest package offered by TCS 9-10lpa and Cognizant 6-7lpa wipro 6-7lpa infosys 10lpa etc. 60-70% student getting placement I will go for placement

Okay, I've applied for 2-3 colleges(IEM Kolkata, Heritage Institute of Technology kolkata, Techno India Main Saltlake) alongwith HIT Haldia. But I choose this college because of mainly two reasons- 1)This is near my hometown. 6-7 km away from my house 2)My some school seniors are also studied here so they said me to take admission here Yes I've got rejection from many colleges also because my WBJEE and JEE main ranks are not so good. But I was selected to take admission i some colleges also but I didn't make that because of expensive fee structure and poor placements. Admission process of my college is not that much complicated for Regular admission like through WBJEE and JEE Mains. HIT, Haldia Better then Government Colleges of West Bnegal

I have got some government colleges but the placements were worse in those and this college has a huge number placements you know.. for addmission in this college 80 percent are from WBJEE 10 percent from JEE mains and 10 percent from management Quota. The addmission process is quite smooth just fill addmission form they will verify then pay the semester fee and your addmission is done ? verification step is most important there during addmission.
