Course Curriculum Overview

5

This College is best known for its CODING teaching which is why I joined this college. As we all know that for becoming a software engineer programming language is important. We have various activities regarding coding in our college. And this college is the best in teaching it. Here we can bring our own laptops to class and use it for coding other than other colleges where we have to go to lab for coding which is tough. We have mid 1 exams after 8 weeks of strting of the semister . Mid 2 after another 8 weeks. Lectures also conduct various exams in between which helps us study and gain more knowledge. The difficulty level depends on how much we have prepared for the exam. But one can get whole marks if he/she studies the entire syllabus.

Fees and Financial Aid

The academic fee is 1,03,000 per year. There are no hikes. The same feeling is paid for all the 4 years in terms. The other compulsory charges include records. And aprons if they mention any for labs. If we get EAMCET rank below 10,000 we don't have to pay any amount as those students will be provided with scholarships by the government of Telangana. We just have to pay admission fee which is 10,000 and we have to pay sem exam fee. Our college's highest package is 1.3 crore . And the average package is around 40 to 50 lakhs per annum. We can find opportunities and companies those who take in students in third year itself for internships. So before the completion of 4th year we can get job experience. Our college prepared ud standardly for job selections. Almost everyone will be recruited into companies cause here they provide much knowledge and best coding skills.

Campus Life

5

We have a library in our college. Where we can find various books which are accessible to everyone. Even allowed to take home and return it. Evry section will have a sports period in a week. Also for the students who are interested in sports our PET coaches train the students in which they are interested after the college hours daily. We also have various clubs like photography, art, dance, singing, music, drama, vachan(speaking club), and especially NGO and street cause which is group that participates in social activities like blood donation, serving poor, and adopting villages etc. which provides a positive impact on student's life. every classroom contains a projector and we have free wifi in our campus. Our college held fests like Dandiya nights for dussera, patang utsav for Sankranti, and freshers in December uptill now.

Admission

For getting into this college,we have two options. One is via TS EAMCET and the other option is management seat in which we have to buy our seat for getting into the college with money. For getting into the college through TS EAMCET which is a entrance exam, we need to get EAMCET rank within the cutoff range so that we can get scholarship for persuing BTech. The cutoff range for different branches vary from each other. Anyone who completed and passed 10th standard and intermediate is eligible for this course. We need to go through a process called counseling which is a online process where we have select our college and branch we want to get in. And if our rank is within the range we can get a seat in the college. From Admission seats, 70 percent of seats are allocated for counseling students and 30 percent for management students. The admission process is very easy to understand and proceed. This College provides good education mainly CODING which is most important.

Placement Experience:

From 4th sem itself students are eligible for placements. Although students get access to paid internships from their 1st year itself, just they need some effort. But as NIAT is yet new and no batch has passed out yet so we still don't have the exact placement percentage rate. But as we are getting paid internships from 1st year itself so it's very evident that placement would also be good

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement cell is least active.. Few good companies like Infosys, amazon, TCS etc visited but the average package is of 1-2 LPA and only 25-30% of students whose all exams are cleared can sit in the placement cell. The highest package is of 8LPA. My plan is to move abroad for higher studies.. The students after completion of 6th sem can sit in placement cell

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
