What Students Say

Likes

The faculties at AKGEC are very experienced and very supportive.
Placement opportunities are good at AKGEC
There are also so many innovation labs so u can also go through it

Dislikes

The location of college is not so good as it is very outer from the city
There are no ACs in classrooms so it is very hot at summer days.
Fees of college is very high and ROI is not so good for every student

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

B.tech is always a evergreen course and B.tech with Tech fields is in demand in current environment. The syllabus that we taught at AKGEC is designed by AKTU according to needs and innovation at industry.

Class Size: 79Course Fees: INR 141000 per year

Placement Experience

3.5

The campus placement of college is very average and also if u have good skills the u have a chance to get placed at ur dream companies as there are many companies come for placement at AKGEC. AKGEC has good tie-ups with companies

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of AKGEC is 141000 for 1st year and from second year the fee will be reduced by 15000 to 20000 thousand rupees. There is no scholarship provided by AKGEC but it gives good amount of money to meritorious students who performed well in AKTU exams. You can apply for scholarship at UP Scholarship portal

Campus Life

There is greenery in campus and campus is also big but the location of college is very outer from city. It is located at the border of ghaziabad and Noida. So location wise it is not so good. And also there are only one club and few number of societies at College from which u can go for cultural events and sports.

Admission

First of all we have to fill Registration form of UPTAC Counselling through Official webiste of Counselling. Then we have to Application form and give our Qualifications & Personal Information. For B. Tech we have to give JEE Scorecard. Then date of Counselling will we finalize and Counselling starts where we have to chose college and course we want to take. After getting seat we have to pay 20000 rupees and then go for physical reporting at College that we have got through counselling where our documents will be verified and our admission process ends. The thing that I don't like about admission process at AKGEC is that UPTAC counselling and AKTU Management is not so good they didn't care about applicants

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

Interactive classes and faculty is also very supportive.
The campus has all basic facilities from food to stationary.

Dislikes

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

The students could come through counselling or Cbse 12th percentage i.e management, counselling is done on JEE scores and 12th percentage should be more than 75-80% in PCM for unreserved prolly...Read More

Inside AKGEC Life

1) I had applied for colleges like jss noida,gl bajaj , kiet , akgec through UPTAC counselling for those who gave JEE Exam. i preferred this college because after reading reviews about it ,consulting senior students. 2) I could get this college based on my rank . I could not make it to other colleges because of their high cutoff for the CSE branch. 3) admission process includes direct admission where students are admiitted based on 10th,12th score and branches are alloted based on their score, 2nd is through the uptac counselling for students who want to get admission through JEE Score. overall admission experience was good....Read More

so bascially i didn't choose this college . i did mistake in my uptac counselling and get this college but when i studied here and seen all the aktu colleges i prefer this is good because it ranked 3 in up colleges .the college is ranked 3 in whole up and its naac A++ so yes its a great college so to get admission in akgec there are two ways by 10+2 percentage marks or by uptac counselling you have to fill your choices in uptac counselling so fill it very carefully without any mistake so the overall to get any cs/it branch your jee percentile should be above 88 and below that you can get any other core branches....Read More
