Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum has been set up to improve the overall efficiency of the students and make them job ready after graduation. The one thing I didn't liked about the course curriculum is teaching some of the subjects to students which are not related to their branches. For instance workshop lab is not at all required in cse and it domains.
Placement Experience
The placements are currently in progress. For good placements one must choose core branch only such as cse, it, ece. Non core branches are not provided with better placements as compared to core branches.current placement trend is around 5-7lpa
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is divided into some categories. The tution fee is around 141000 and hostel fees is 130000 for double sharing and 110000 for teiple sharing. Scholarships are provided to students. They are provided to EWS, SC/ST, Minority students. Apart from the above fees an additional examination fees of 7500 was deposited to aktu. 2300 registration charges were also applied on students who took admission through management quota
Campus Life
The overall campus is lush green. Campus life cannot be termed as one of the best as there are no fests and completions in the college. In the name of fest only freshers is there for students. There are many clubs both technical and non technical and even for sports but you can be a part of them only after completing first year. The college is also strict in terms of attendance. It is mandatory to maintain atleast 75%attendance otherwise you will be debarred from examinations
Hostel Facilities
In double sharing rooms, we are provided with cupboard, bed, chairs and study tables for each of us. The mess food is just okay, but boring. One thing that we didn't like about hostel is hygiene. Rooms are cleaned once a month and that without mopping, so it is very difficult to live in such dirty rooms. Also we experience great difficulty in connectivity issues due to signal problem. The wifi doesn't work properly and gives a speed of max 0.9-1mbps. It is very difficult to survive with such low speed internet. Overall conclusion can be concluded as the hostel is very overpriced according to such facilities.
Admission
I took admission in this college through management quota on the basis of my class 12 PCM aggregate marks. The admission faculty was quite helping and kind. They helped us in every possible way. The thing I didn't like about the admission process was the mismanagement of the crowd. The management was feeling difficulty in handling a such a large crowd at the time of admissions
