Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

In our college the placement opportunities for IT department are good. So I have choosen this college. In our college there is choice based credit system. There are 2 semesters for an academic year. These are some things that influenced me.

Internships Opportunities

5

There are many internship opportunities provided in our college . Stipend is also provided based on the skills of the student. From 2nd year itself , internship opportunities are provided with a stipend

Placement Experience

4.5

Placements in our college are pretty good. The Highest package offered is 1.2 crore . average package offered is around 8Lakhs per annum.around 100 companies visit our college every year.almost 90 percent of the students will be placed.dome of the companies visited are Infosys, Cisco , Accenture etc..

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fees is fixed . 140000 per year, The complete cost of engineering in our college is around 560000. There are scholarships provided to students based on their caste. There are no campus employment opportunities.

Campus Life

4

In our college the priority to events is very less but we have one fest EUPHORIA which goes for three days .This is the biggest cultural fest of our college. There are clubs but only limited clubs. The library is of two floors but it is too small

Hostel Facilities

5

There is no hostel provided by college management.we live in private pg caled istha deluxe boys hostel .the quality of meal is nice .it was maintained good.they provided internet 5g wife . weekly 2 time non veg .

Admission

I have took ts eamcet exam and got admission in this college.I have OBC reservation, there are two semesters every year and two internal exams are conducted every for every semester .The admission process is also good

Interview Experience

4

Yes, I faced a Written Test and Interview as part of the admission process, while the Group Discussion was optional for some courses. The written test mainly focused on basic aptitude, logical reasoning, English comprehension, and subject-related fundamentals. Questions included multiple-choice questions, short answers, and basic problem-solving to test analytical thinking. The interview was conducted by a panel of faculty members, and the questions were simple and student-oriented. They asked about my academic background, subjects studied in previous education, reason for choosing this course and college, career goals, strengths and weaknesses, and basic questions from my core subjects. Some general questions about current trends related to the field were also asked to check awareness and communication skills. The admission process also considered eligibility criteria such as minimum marks in previous qualifying exams, entrance test performance, and interview performance. Merit and reservation rules were followed as per college and university guidelines. To prepare for these rounds, I revised my basic subjects, practiced aptitude and reasoning questions, and improved my English communication skills. I also prepared answers for common interview questions and stayed confident during the process. Overall, the admission process was fair, systematic, and focused on selecting students with both academic knowledge and clarity of goals.

Night Life

4

The nightlife in and around my college campus is calm, safe, and student-friendly, and it mainly focuses on relaxation rather than loud entertainment. After a long day of classes, students usually unwind by spending time with friends, going for evening walks, studying together, or using campus facilities. The college gym is open in the morning and evening and generally closes by 9:00 PM, allowing students to relieve stress after classes. The cafeteria or canteen remains open till around 8:30 or 9:00 PM, after which hostel students depend on the mess or nearby food stalls. The library usually closes by 9:30 PM, but during exams it may remain open late to support students. Public areas such as grounds, common halls, and open seating spaces are accessible till about 9:00 PM. Hostel students are required to return by 9:30 or 10:00 PM, and campus gates close around 10:00 PM with security guards monitoring entry and exit. Popular hangout spots inside the campus include the canteen, library s

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
