Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Electronics and communication was a course that I opted out of interest for both hardware and software. To satisfy my thirst, the curriculum was boarded with embedded systems, analog circuits, data structures, electronic devices and circuits, control systems, digital system designs, data structures, Python, and so on. This made me confident in hardware as well as software.

Fees and Financial Aid

The original fee for a management student electronics and communication engineering was 2,17,000. Which included a tuition fee of 150000 and 15000 for technical fees, a breakage fee of 12000, and transport fees of 40000. Being a day scholar I was not asked to pay hostel fees. After the session, I was asked to pay 190000.

Campus Life

5

I had my best experience in my college life. Cit was not just about academics. I did a lot of hosting and managed my events. I was the technical head for my department symposium called the vidyutrenz which will be held every year. The symposium comprises of many technical events such as inter and intra college quizzes, workshop, many paper presentations and so on. I also actively take part in college culturals which take place three days once in every academic year.

Admission

After the board exams, I started my search for a good college, and that is when I heard about Chennai Institute Of Technology. One day I visited the college with my parent. The faculties, staff, and management were so friendly and guided us throughout the campus. The labs were innovative and very interactive. When I inquired about the admission process, they handed me over an admission form to fill out and explained the admission procedures. I had secured a solid 450/500. The cut-off for e-ECE engineering was about 185 and I had 183. The college gave me a fee concession for my cutoff after providing a caste certificate.

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.
