Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course and curriculum of our college is up to date. Some of our college professors teaches very well by explaining theory and taking tutorial classes but some of them teaches by slides only. However few of them don't know how to teach subject like Mathematics even they teaches mathematics by simply writing on black board without explaining and at the end you have to see videos on youtube for exam.In my opinion some proffesors should change their teaching way otheromerwise mostly teaches in a decent way. In my branch teaching style of maximum professors is excellent.Mid term exams are conducted in the mid of the semseter and at the end practical and end term examinations are conducted.Talking to difficulty level 70 percent of the exam carries only numerical and 30 percent theory.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Many companies visit for internship and placement.Students mostly get internship during 3rd year and final year.It is advisable to do research internship in IITs, NITs and IISC.After third year students are advised to do internship in corporate sectors to make their CV strong. Most of the students in our college get internship opporunities in 2nd and 3rd year in IITs and they get stipend based internship also.Students doing internship in IITs work under proffesors who work on various projects.Internship period is generally of 1 to 2 months.

Placement Experience

4

For Campus Placements students become eligible form 7th semester.Campus placements start generally from the month of October and continues till May.Companies in IT sector like Wells Fargo, Orcale, Cisco, latent view etc. visit. For core branches like civil, mechanical, electrical companies like Afcons, L&T, Renata precision, Escorts Kubota etc. visit.Talking to the highest package which was offered was 52 lakhs per annum last year.Average package in our college is from 8.5lakhs to 9lakhs.Number of students getting placed each year are about 75 to 85 percent.Campus placements are generally held in two to three rounds. First one is aptitude and other one is technical and HR interview. Students getting shortlisted in aptitude round are eligible to sit in interview round. My plans after getting degree is to do a decent job in core company and to clear GATE exam. After GATE exam one can join PSU's also.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure of the college varies as per annual income.Students having income less then 5 lakh have to pay generally 35000 thousand to 45000 thousand fees.Students can apply for various scholarships under NSP portal also.Students can also apply under scholarships given by various companies.Total cost of education for students having family income less than 1 lakh is about 5 to 6 lakhs and for students having income above 5 lakhs is 10 to 12 lakhs.Internship oppurtinites are also given to students for second and third year students.Top core companies such as L&T , JSW and other top software companies also come for recruiting students.placement is quite good in our college. Placement oppurtunites are quite good in our college.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at my college are average. A few reputed companies visit the campus each year, but the number of offers and salary packages varies depending on the branch and market conditions. Students who have strong academic performance, technical skills, internships, and good communication skills generally have better chances of getting placed.
